Jings! As a 40 year plus biking couple whose kids have flown the nest and enabled us to hit the road once more, we have absolutely cherished your vlog... Blew us away! So well produced and so "Biker-couple" oriented we have lived every minute. We have a few GoPro recordings that we've amassed over the years but you guys have produced the definitive moto-blogs. Another great video guys , 20 years since I was in the area , brought back some fond memories in our aero 8 not on the bike though , bike theft is a big problem and always better to be safe than sorry, I agree if you don’t feel safe to park up you’re better off moving on , my R18 weighs 360 kilos so not that easy to load into a van , 😂 , hope you arrived home safely 👍 enjoyed our tour on your new bike, look forward to the next trip , many thanks, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Graham L

Hi Graham, thanks so much! Oh wow the Aero 8 -that's the Morgan right? -such a cool car! that must have been a lot of fun. Haha that's very true the R18 does by nature have it's own security system =) we made a video with that last year in the Alps and had a lot of fun! We got home safe thanks and a quick turn around for the next rip which is out 02 Aug =) but there will be a Heading South best bits out today too.

Thanks buddy! well the vented base suit is not but the outer layer is 100% waterproof -we've put it to the test a few times now =)

You parked exactly where we parked, 2 years ago in Annecy... 👍👍👍Lovely place, we walked down to the lake along the canal (for want of a better description) just round the corner from the bike. Going back here again some time. Getting the real urge to do 1 more trip this year from UK to the Alps etc.... Great video as ever, just don't remind me about parking the bike in London at the moment, absolutely terrible, they will even snap the screens off the BMW's to try n use.... Hi Jon, it's a great place to stop and very convenient parking too =) Yeah i would dread to have to park in London these days! -would have to be underground parking there for me. The weather is great in Switzerland at the moment, hoping for a late season like last year -the autumn colors are fantastic if the passes are still open. Hi 👋 Is it true that it’s forbidden to have extra lights , except the originals that comes with the bike , and is it true it’s forbidden to have the warnings for speed cameras in Switzerland on your Gps ? Nice v-log 🙌

I’m not sure about the extra lights being forbidden -but everything that alters the bikes spec must be registered and be tested by the office of vehicles and added to the vehicles papers (things like handle bar raisers). Yeah it’s forbidden to have the location of cameras on gps -sooo many rules lol 😁

Great video adventure 😎 quick question regarding the visors on your helmets - are the visors legal to use?

Thanks!! We believe so, our visors are not fully tinted. Although rules are different form country to country i think if it's less than 50% tint it's okay. We find the fully tinted ones are too dark for night time riding and we don't really want to be changing them often. It's Funny as it's no issue wearing sunglasses with a transparent visor.

@@SeanandEmily me and my daughter planned a trip from my home town of huddersfield through hull rotterdam then hannover berlin inzell bavaria weisbaden the rotterdam that was to include spandau bmw factory tour 2 days before departure they cancelled the tour bastards we went in our tour anyway due to everything being booked wouldnt bother with bmw again mate it took the retards 8 montbs to honour myled headlight then they gave all iwners an extra £500 voucher as a sweetner i am putting it towardsservice inclusive

That’s really disappointing about the factory tour!! -haven’t been there myself but I’m sure it’s interesting. Berlin however is an awesome city and a really fascinating place. The Hull Rotterdam ferry is a nice way to start a tour -you wake up refreshed instead of exhausted from a ride to Dover. Just got my Headlight yesterday -wow it’s so much better. Do you have the headlight as well as the voucher? Cheers mate
