Good idea. Bifurcated cables are marginally more nuisance than 2 separate cables, but only just.

A neat little trick in those circumstances. When I've had to change throttle cables on my T140V, I take the whole assembly out and use the opportunity to oil all the cables. Balance needs rechecking, of course, but they rarely need adjustment.
