what a load of crap, 6 minutes of my life wasted listening to rubbish. I wanted a review of the box not a load of rant. not even a look inside the box, hopeless. why not try again at a review and do it properly or just change the title to pile of crap.....dont waste your time watching.

Been biking for 30 years and every bike I have ever had I have had a top box fitted. Never thought for a second about "coolness", just practicality. Going shopping etc. A standard 30 litre capacity top box can accommodate my average trip to the supermarket. Most of them have been black GIVI box with red reflector. if anything, they have added to the attractiveness of the bike, in my eyes. What's "cool" about having a vehicle with which you can't carry anything with ?

I don’t drive a car, never done my test but I’ve been riding bikes daily since I was 16 (30years). The top box is an absolute must for me. I do need a better way of organising what goes in it though.

Love the top box. So much better then side bags in my opinion. Very practical! Use with my z900rs as a daily commuter. Holds my welding gear:)

Worth noting for your Sport Glide that the HD Tourpak rack allows you to fit the adapter plate for any top box for the sake of drilling a few holes. I fitted mine with a cheap box from Amazon that fits two helmets. If you want it to be secure, you need to pay another 85AUD for a locking clamp since the tour pack rack just comes off with two latches.

Agree 100% always hated them, got a Tiger XCX with 3 box luggage set in 2019, wanted the panniers wasn`t fussed about topbox, but I rarely use the panniers, never without the topbox.

It would have been nice if you showed us a little about the box itself instead of just talk talk talk talk I would like to SEE what it was made out of and how it fit

I am new to the motorcycle world does the topbox only work on certain bike's

You’ll be able to find a box for the particular motorcycle because it depends on the attachment points and brackets. Cheers

I've been touring for couple of years but never thought about the top box practicality. Now that I'm considering, does it affect the motorcycle stability when you're just having the top box while touring? I've heard people saying either the top box flew or it affected the aerodynamic

I'd only say at higher speeds on a highway but even then it's still rare and if you're touring you will be quite loaded up anyway so it shouldn't make much difference either. Cheers

@@RevelatorAlf Hi Alf. I want to travel through Sonora Mexico on a motorbike and I'm wondering how top boxes perform in gusty crosswinds. What's your experience/comment?

@@chrisunger2154 sure they’re fine and some perform better than others. If you have a box that can move on its base like the Triumph and I believe the new Harley Davidson Pan America does too, then that works even better. Cheers
