I do not like doing long days when it is to hot. Once or twice a year I do a 830 mile single day ride to my daughters. It usually takes from around 6:00am to 8:00 or 9:00pm. I usually enjoy the ride unless it is really hot. It is always easier coming home though :-)

May I kindly ask ? What was the name of the village you started in ? Ps 1200km is a long way in one day! I’ve done 1000km a few times (Santander-Faro, and Pyrenees - SW Spain) but worry about speeding convictions !

It was indeed a very long day, especially for Charllote on a single cylinder bike. It is not something we are looking forward to doing again, but the will to get home at that point was high 😅 We started from a little village on the outskirts of Leida, a few km's before if I'm not mistaken, rather gorgeous I must say!

Tea2Wine por curioso mais que pareça , ela veio de Lisboa... Não é o ideal para fazer a viagem até aí... Mesmo com pneu de Enduro, é só derreter borracha... Mas na r1150r vou numa perna e venho na outra... Em Agosto, sou gajo 🤔😉
