What's your thoughts on the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa?

They kept that same 1340cc motor. The zx 14r is still 100cc larger. More torque more horsepower. As 14r is still king. This is just a euro5 refresh. Nothing more

Same old 1340cc engine with less hp and worse fuel range? This 2021 model introduction is generating the opposite reaction that the first Hayabusa model did back in 1998, so much disappointment. What happened to the rivalry between the Japanese motorcycle companies? I was hoping for a more powerful TURBO engine to challenge the supercharged Kawasaki...🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

Im not a Hayabusa customer but I was mildly impressed with the model. And I really wish my 2015 GSXR had those rearview mirrors but with integrated blinkers! A small detail with great design unusual on past Suzuki sport bikes.

We are living in a unique point in history. The end of unique bikes. The bikes of the last ten years will be amazing classics in the coming years when electric bikes become the norm. We will talk about them in the same way as people talk about muscle cars of the late 60’s and how cheaply you could buy them. The hyabusa will be right up there. Well done Suzuki .

I feel like the H2, the busa, and maybe even the R1 are the swan song bikes of the Japanese brands. I’m gonna resist electric for as long as possible, but inevitably one day the clutch and the exhaust note on a downshift will be gone. I hope we still get to ride track until I’m dead.

New world . in every space of it.. Hhh. The kids buying these new bikes will argue about it. Say no way your old bike is faster. I tell them its. Such a turn off to pay a premium price for a bike that's not un corked. Why I didn't buy the new cbr1000rrr or even the cheaper new zx10rr. Stuck in limbo now ,keep saving my money till I figure were things are going. Maybe by then I'll have a good chunk of money to put down, or just move on from two wheels to something else.

@Bart Garrison There's also a lot of research that shows that a needle on a gauge is faster for a rider or driver to read and understand and then return their focus to the road ahead. The move towards technical dashes is almost entirely driven by reviewers convincing buyers that they want a modern display without old school clunky clocks. Whether that's because they're getting money under the table or because all of us are idiots chasing the spirit of technologic progress regardless of whether or not it's ACTUALLY progress is... I LOVED my BB, and in many ways, I think it was a better bike than the Busa (I *DO* love the Busa though). Actually, I feel like the perfect bike would have the Blackbirds chassis, brakes and ergonomics with a 90 degree V-twin that could run with a Busa or ZX14... something in the 1400cc range. I wasn't a fan of the looks of the old bike but I must say this one is an improvement and possibly a grower - I love that paint scheme and the touches of chrome look brill. At last a manufacturer producing a new bike with dials and a proper fuel and temp gauge!! That cockpit looks awesome, exactly the right mix of analogue and digital, let's hope this starts a new trend.....weight my be an issue practically and the marketing department will have a job with reduced BHP but as you say, who's really going to notice the small reduction..I can't wait to have a go on one (Please Mr Suzuki??)....great vid as ever sir! Really enjoyed that....

Remember, with Busa, form follows function. The new model is extremely aerodynamic. Without doubt in a league of its own in that regard. Also, the drag race community are licking their lips. Suzuki have designed in an ability to make and boost incredible amounts of power with incredible reliability. Much more so even than gen 2. This thing will dominate on drag race tracks across the world.

Its looks fookin amazing. Menacing and composed. Form following function, an engineers perfection. It is actually very different from the old. And stunning. The potential and reliability Suzuki have built into this engine is mind blowing. The drag race community are simply frothing. Suzuki have delivered us such as good base to build from, that the race community expect this model to completly and utterly dominate the scene.

@@HighMaintenancePS Backing off HP and torque?....Not with a stock 3rgd Gen.....it is too heavy in stock form for straight line acceleration.....Drag racing is all power to weight. I have a 2000 Busa that has the 220 mph speedometer. I've always wondered if it was one of the unrestricted models. I've only had it to 140 in 3rd gear with plenty of revs to go. I slowed down for fear of getting a ticket. I was from 50 to 140 back to 50 in about three seconds. It was incredible. What I say to the Gixer riders that say the Busa can't corner with them is, "I would rather pass you on the straight than work my ass off in the corners anyway".

I agree with the needle and analog feelings in speedometer, if you watch a lot of pilot cockpit's videos, you will notice the same even though today's cockpit is all digital but they still kept the needle and analog displays in the screen. The feeling where you are going and what you have left is not the same with numbers display.
