We are living in a unique point in history. The end of unique bikes. The bikes of the last ten years will be amazing classics in the coming years when electric bikes become the norm. I feel like the H2, the busa, and maybe even the R1 are the swan song bikes of the Japanese brands. I’m gonna resist electric for as long as possible, but inevitably one day the clutch and the exhaust note on a downshift will be gone. I hope we still get to ride track until I’m dead.

Hope there will be stock looking aftermarket race exhaust.

They really aren’t bad, but getting plenty of hate. Better this than underbody exhaust that negates slip-on cans.

So great to hear someone who has knowledge and experience with each generation of a bike talk about the differences and spec. Can't wait for you to ride it and give us your opinion.

Just sat on a 2024 black Busa and it was literally one of the most beautiful stock bikes ive ever seen in person. Gorgeous.

I was hoping for a bike a bit more ground breaking, this is aimed at the nostalgic bikers (previous 'Busa owners) possibly .

I don't own a busa and was never really fond of the curves, but this new version looks lovely, would possibly get it.

This is the first time I’ve actually considered owning one, and I liked the 2nd gen.

Mate, Busa must look like a Busa! I'm glad Suzuki kept most of its iconic looks and blended in with some high end tec specs!!!!! 😍😍😍😍

Same. Heard so many crazy rumors (1440cc, factory supercharger, 6 cylinders) but in the end it feels more like a refresh.

Agreed, taking the battle to h2 would have made it a phenomenon

I don't know. I guess I was expecting more. It was such a ground breaking bike when launched.

Great rundown. Little bit underwhelmed with this bike. Good on Suzuki for keeping the Hayabusa alive, hope it sells well.👍🇦🇺🍺

SUPERB. Much more refined, more of everything and looks fantastic. Just what I wanted. Perfect.

I'll have to test ride one of course, but I might just get one. Does a lot of the things I'd want a bike to do, very, very well. Comfortable, fast, stable, good electronics package, and easy to ride.

Well said. If I ever sell my Gen 1 Busa, the 2021 Busa would be on my short list of new bikes to look at.

As always a thorough detailed review of Suzuki’s iconic Busa, great job MCN. Shame about euro 5 choking the performance but great that Suzuki was motivated to keep the hyper-bike alive unlike other manufacturers who dropped them. 👍

I have a 2000 Busa that has the 220 mph speedometer. I've always wondered if it was one of the unrestricted models. I've only had it to 140 in 3rd gear with plenty of revs to go. I slowed down for fear of getting a ticket. I was from 50 to 140 back to 50 in about three seconds. It was incredible. What I say to the Gixer riders that say the Busa can't corner with them is, "I would rather pass you on the straight than work my ass off in the corners anyway".

I like the honesty. Less BHP, Less Top End, Less MPG, almost double the price.. I’ll take the old one! Thanks for the review.

I agree with the needle and analog feelings in speedometer, if you watch a lot of pilot cockpit's videos, you will notice the same even though today's cockpit is all digital but they still kept the needle and analog displays in the screen. The feeling where you are going and what you have left is not the same with numbers display.

I have to say. This was the most suspenseful 4 minutes of my life, as you focused on the 1999 Busa. I wasn't expecting to ever actually see the new 2021 model. Then BLAM. Well done! I'm thoroughly enjoying this video so far.
