On November 10, 2013, Anchorage, Alaska's had its first snow of the year. Jared Bennett and Sean King left the Second to None MC clubhouse, and this is what happened.

Did that once. The amount of joy it brings other people that see you makes it worth it

In the old days in England when people still could not afford a car and gasoline was still rationed for 10 years after World War II everybody who wrote a motorcycle rode in the snow. They did not have a car. The insurance companies would give you a discount if in the winter you would put a sidecar on your motorcycle to keep you from falling down and going boom. I understand the Ural Gear Up sidecar outfit with the two-wheel drive is very popular in areas like Alaska that get lots of snow after all it was built in Siberia to take Russian Winters. It probably thinks winter in Alaska is a warm spring day compared to Siberia. When I was a kid I used to ride my bicycle in the snow all the time. You would just be bundled up.

I ride every winter, I just do it on a small 125cc Enduro, don't need any more power on the ice.

If it is with carburators, heat them up. With hot watter, hair dryer... When the winter was dry, I used to go to work with my Virago, and heat up the carburators with hair dryer for few minutes, and with little work it started

Tried to ride home from work after some snow, immediately dropped it and cracked my timing cover. Ever get caught in snow again, I'll be leaving the bike and calling someone for a ride.
