MOTORCYCLING THE ROMANTIC ROAD | PART 3 | Romantische Straße

We now start to enjoy the sublime stunning scenery in the Bavarian Alps in Germany. Motorcycling through Alpine forests & lakes over mountain passes on the 'Romantic Road' or #Romantische Straße.
This is a 2-3 day trip around 600km starting from Wurzburg & ending in Fussen at the stunning lake Konigsee.
Lots of motorcyclist in the area is evidence that this is a great motorcycle touring destination.

Great scenery it brings back lots of great memories for me I lived in that area but nearer to Lake Constance in a town called Radolfzell close to the Swiss border. Great video fabulous location and roads I am so jealous safe riding. Regards Des

Hi super subscriber! Appreciate your comments Chris. The 2nd half was a lot better for riding. The final episode comes out at 6pm tonight . Looking at the forecast today Germany must have had a spike in the temperatures after we left as it recorded it's highest reading of 38.6 degrees celsius (101 fahrenheit) ! Glad we came back before that. The big ABR coming up next...soooo excited for that. Have you got a ticket?

Great mountain roads the camera doesnt show how steep they were. Lovely area to ride

Gorgeous scenery, they run the MTB World Cup from Leogang, and I think the scenic backdrop is one of the best.

Germany is great to get to the alps but you need to get to the Dolomites just superb, see J&S Motorcycle Diaries. You also need to travel around the Mosel and Rhine towns like Cochem Rudesheim am Rhine plenty of twisties great beer and wine.
