Yep, it is a very dangerous sport. I have family members that use to participate in most of the Motocross races and there were many instances where they took a terrible fall. Broken limbs, broken ribs, crushed fingers, broken ankles and getting knocked out cold was all part of the game. The worst I have seen was where this young guy leg, was amputated below the knee after a terrible fall.

I agree. I ride trails on my 450r alone here in San Diego. Now, not as nearly pumped to ride last 3 weeks. Dirt biking nothing like driving a car. Super risky, endorphins flying, but this makes more real for us that do ride.
