Missed you guys! I love the mountains and I also love to drive in the snow with the proper tires. All season...no, no, no! Full snows yes! They are loud on the dry highway but when you need them in the snow or ice you are better off. I am not much of a chain guy as they kick the daylights out of the wheel wells. I am amazed how some actually drive in the dry with them on. The skiing looks great and I love above the treeline skiing. I am interested in how your Katie gets along when the temperature drops. Have fun!

Yes granted All Terrain are not as good as full Winter but they do have the winter symbol on them and they were very good in the mixed conditions we had. We don't notice any difference in road noise. Didn't know that about the wheel wells though, we'll only use them as a last resort and no longer than necessary, hopefully they stay brand new in the box! Katie was snug and warm in the -12c conditions 😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle

Hi, we’ve skied Tignes, great place 😀 for security the main thing is park up where it feels right and where there are other van, we have a disclock for the steering wheel and loop the seat belts around the doors if we feel we need to, that doesn’t work on A class MHs though, we also shut all the blinds so nothing is visible, hope that helps…Andy&Michelle

Ahh nice one yr not far from us in Courchevel.. Peisey Nancroix is one of the most beautiful places on the Paradiski 😍 Snow Chains are obligatory in this part of France during the winter, but id be surprised if you ever need them with those BF Goodrich tyres 👍🏼 Id get a heavier set of jump leads as the ones you had were a bit flimsy for yr camper van.. The locals will always help you out with a jump start ⚡️ I wonder if it was yr heating that drained yr battery ? very strange for it to flatten overnight and considering the amount of driving you'd done previously.. Thoughts on the battery...if its the original since new its probably knackered and will show full charged but will have nothing left overnight. Great video. Regarding your battery issue if you get a USB plug in charger with a voltage indication from say E bay, you can plug it into the 12v cab 'cigar lighter' socket on the dashboard to read your Van battery voltage. The are only about £3 and can help you independently diagnose whether your van battery is down on voltage.

Hi there I am a Carthago Chic c line owner. Re the Engine battery. Did you have the entertainment system button on overnight. Ie watching TV or using the radio system. The Entrainment system is wired to the engine battery and not the leisure batteries. So any use draws the amps out of the engine battery. I note you were not on EHU so that and the cold night may have caused an issue. Personally Im not so sure. You would have a long drive until the overnight stop. so the engine battery would be fully charged. It maybe the battery is simply on its way out. The cold nights can cause deep problems but the van was nice and warm so keep an eye on it
@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Hi, the entertainment system wasn't on, we've seen the comments on the FB group about this before so always switch it off, the battery is nearly 5 years old now so I think just time to get it changed, it must have been the cold that zapped it, everything else in the van was lovely and warm though 😀👍 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
