If you mount the camera high you have to drill into the vehicle body. Doesnt that invalidate the water ingress warranty?

I just purchased a RV class c and it has a built in Pioneer backup, loaded camera with side view , phone radio, b.t. and everything else . My question is the only way to turn this off is with a killer switch that turns everything off in the RV. Why isn't there a on/off button . I don't want my battery to go dead so I always have to use this factory installed killer switch. thank you for any info. AVH-3400BH or AVH-2400BT

Reversing Camera - Have a Fiat Decato 2015 with screen in the entertainment system. Van didn’t come with a camera, dealer fitted one before delivery with rear view mirror monitor. It activates when you select reverse. I asked if we could have a switch to use it when going forward as a rear view camera, for idiots tail baiting etc. No response. Why the didn’t fit to display on built in system, if sunny often can’t see out rear view mirror. Can this be easily adapted to display on both monitors and have the option to view when going forward.

Hi Matey, Do you have any ideas why my VISION camera on my motorhome keeps fogging up everytime we go out ? Starts off ok but a mile up the road all I can see is foggy pic. Regards Duncan.

The wiew is upside down bumper should be om top. And the brake light is going to interfere with the camera so you get blinded. The camera has to be under the brake light.

I have a camera which works when it wants to. By resetting the electronics panel under the seat I can sometimes make it work. Is there a relay that is not triggering properly and needs replacing? Thanks, Brian

Sounds like water ingress. Not enough to damage the unit but just enough that when the unit warms slightly it condenses on the inside of the cooler outer clear lens shell. I have a similar issue on the "hours" meter of my ride-on lawn mower. It's fine when first switched on, but fogs up within a few minutes. Dry or damp day - makes no difference.
