I've seen many KZbin videos of F-16 Fighting Falcons in the past years. But I only saw this jet, up close and personal yesterday here in Isabela province. When the pilot of this jet flying almost over me at low altitude maybe 30 meters obove the mountain that I stood. Great job fellas. Hopefully, he will come back today for another training exercise.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

The company I worked for engineered and produced the leading edge flap actuators for the F-16. I began there as a machinist and finished my career as Production Manager. My favourite jet fighter of all-time. I remember when I first saw it in a military book my grandfather gave me. I fell in love with it immediately. That red, white and blue colour scheme was enough to get me hooked for life. I still can't believe it's been around nearly 50 years. I'm still amazed at the fact that it's 1st flight was unplanned

I remember the YF-16 too. It looked weird to me with those blended leading edge wing roots starting way up front on the nose, nothing like the Century Series, F-4, or the new F-15A and TF-15A. The FSD birds with the black radomes and grey paint scheme were more palatable to my eyes, as was the camouflaged YF-16 #2.
