Hi Adam, thanks for all your information and your videos on motorized bicycles. Do you know of a company that sells a locking gas cap for these 2 L tanks? That is something that I’ve always been concerned with, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks for all your videos And all your information and expertise. Thanks, Mark

Yea I have checked the D.M.V. requirements . But there are no specifics on motorized bicycles . Seems most of the Officers here in Vegas are indifferent, they won't bother you as long as you don't draw attention to yourself . Even though adds for the 2 strokes say EPA approved . I do not see a 2 stroke oil gas mixture being passable ? I'm converting mine to make it look like a 1900-1920's model . That may draw more attention , better safe than sorry . I think I will run a 6 or 12 volt to operate everything also need a speedometer . Thank You for your reply .

+Pouche Andrews Good morning and thank you for watching and commenting! I've heard and seen that a lot where I think in some areas motorized bikes baffle the cops more than anything and they don't know what to do so as long as you blend in as much as possible they won't go out of their way to hassle you. Sounds like you have an awesome build going! If you want send some pictures of it! I'd love to see your build and post some pictures on the Facebook page! Sinistercustomcycles@gmail.com

I had a question on what is needed to make the bike street legal as in NV. It is considered a motorized vehicle like a moped or scooter under 50cc under 30 mph. That means legally you cannot ride in bike lanes. I also have a e-bike. No problems with that. Are your bikes street legal with all the lights and such ? Any advice on this matter ?

+Pouche Andrews Hello! The best way to check laws would be your local government center for local statutes. Laws also vary by city as well. In my area as long as it's 49cc or under, doesn't go over 21mph, has pedals, lights and a mirror then it's legal.

Pouche Andrews use a big sprocket itll cut your top speed making it a mab...instead classified as moped.i uses 40teeth sprocket sucker got me going 33mph on my hs 4 stroke so im assuming 50teeth will increase your accel and keep your top speed very low.

Is a chain drive faster than a belt drive?
@sinistercustomcycles1108 жыл бұрын
In my opinion and experience with them I didn't notice any difference in performance at all. I know I couldn't stand the chain drive because of the extra noise and maintenance

Top speed?

Thank god you mentioned the bolts. NEVER use the bolts which come with the kit. Head to a screw place and get better bolts/nuts. Small cost...but you will thank yourself later when the engine vibrates the stock bolts/nuts in half.

+Don Lowery You're more than welcome! I haven't had a kit yet that had the right hardware with it and I know some people won't think of it and they would just wrench until it stripped it out so I wanted to address that. Thank you so much watching and for your comment!
