I have an Edelkrone setup and am pretty happy with it, but the one thing that’s almost impossible to pull off with a standard slider are overhead shots with the camera facing down. That’s what I will be getting the Slypod Pro for.

The problem I have with traditional sliders is the setup time, it just takes too long. This is much easier and versatile and can be used with most modern cameras available today.

Several months back Moza sent me the Slypod E and while I did like what it could do, it felt really awkward in use, being quite unstable as you mentioned. The pro version here looks pretty great especially with that second mounting point you showed. Really cool tool and it's great to see companies listening to the users and being innovative!

Nice, the original Slypod although a great idea had way too many problems. I was very surprised they listened to all of the feedback and came out with this pro version which as you saw from the video I would highly recommend.

So am I correct that the Slypod will not work in sync with any other gimbals? If so, has Slypod said anything about supporting other gimbals in the foreseeable future. For what it's worth, I think they would be smart to support the two most popular gimbals if they want to increase their sales.

I don't think it's about Moza supporting other gimbals, it's the fact that other gimbals use proprietary software. This is like saying why doesn't Android support iMessage like iPhone. Non of these manufactures are using an open source platform that would allow them to communicate with each other. Unless companies like DJI, Movi, etc open up their API's for product development similar to what RED does with some of their hardware, there's really nothing Moza can do.

As Armando said, the idea is to increase sales of their own gimbals because it creates a complete ecosystem. No different than any other company only supporting their own brands.

Using gimmicks as a way to get people to like the video doesn’t work and irritates people unless they’re like twelve years old!. Even for the people it doesn’t irritate your reducing the amount of people who’ll now like the video to those who’ve had that specific thing happen!. Just be honest explain to people please if you find this video helpful or enjoyable maybe consider liking the video as it helps let KZbin know to recommend it to other people!. None of this nonsense like the video if you’ve got purple shoes or like wearing party hats and have had clients ask you to change music!. Upto you but for me it’s nonsense and you’re doing yourself a disservice by doing it.
