Motorized Digital Television Antenna Install and Review

Our parents were finally ready to cut the cord and save over 1,000.00 per year on their cable bill. Prices kept going up and like many people they were not getting enough out of cable to justify the increasing costs. We found a cheap HD 150 mile range Antenna on Amazon. There are many different brand names that are all made by the same manufacturer. I put a link above to one similar to the one we purchased.
Since most of the local channels they could get over the air, we purchased a high-powered antenna from Amazon and installed it in their attic. Instructions are a little hard to follow sometimes so we hope this video gives a good walkthrough on how to install and place the antenna.

I bought the same antenna. It looked a little "vulnerable" so I used some heavy duty, clear roofing/flashing silicone on most of the screws and pieces parts and then used clear coat spray over the entire thing to keep it from rotting from UV damage. Mine still works great after roughly 6 years outside. I skipped the basic wimpy mount and made a sturdier one from an old DirecTV dish J-mount for it to peek over my roof and soffit from and end gable. Just got a new Tablo-4 DVR to record live OTA TV and wow, it's amazing!

Hi did you leave the box that you plug the antenna in in the attic or you brought it back in the house? I'm trying to run my mom's to all her TVs too.

I bought an ONN HD outdoor motorized antenna from walmart and it only worked 1 week before it stopped rotating.

This will NOT work with a metal roof...
