I’ve purchased this device TWICE. The first one I sent back as I couldn’t make it work; I assumed it was defective. However, I have bought another one and the same thing, I simply cannot make it work! Any advice is welcomed???

To me it worked from the first time I turned it on. I'm sorry yours is not working. I really can't think of anything. Just send it back..

how do you lock in the channel between the remote and the ase?

Sorry. I didn’t check to many things in the manual. I test the buttons until I get the desired result😁. Sorry for the delayed answer.
