For those who think whether it would work with a TV not having ARC support.. No worries. It will work. Make sure to use HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 port of the soundbar, and connect hdmi cable from hdmi arc of soundbar to any tv hdmi port.

Gogi Ji thodi si galti hogayi.. 1) Dolby Atmos can only be enjoyed if the content is recorded in Atmos and your tv needs HDMI (eARC) port. 2) The new Amazon stick needs to be in eARC port. The most soundbar doesn't have the drivers they just mimic the technology using dtx filter. It's a very similar thing like Spatial Audio. The actual atmos needs up-firing drivers.

Compressed audio. Audio quality of an original Blu-ray is how you should test; that is uncompressed sound at maximum bitrate (also maximum video bitrate). Online streaming is quite inferior to an actual disc (some even inferior to original DVD).

Sir, one genuine feedback, your overall review process is classy. But you must spend some more time showcasing the sound testing process. In other words, u may need to do more of testing which is the core reason people would watch this video for. Otherwise, it's more of talking and narrative presentation. Hello Sir, thanks for your detailed and impressive review. I had a quick questio. My Panasonic Smart TV does not support HDMI ARC or EARC nor does it have Dolby Atmos Support. Can I connect HDMI out (ARC) of Soundbar to HDMI in port of my TV (Non ARC / Non EARC) and optical TV port to optical bar port for sound ? I plan to use the bar with Dolby Atmos Fire Tv Stick as shown in your video.

If you are using Firestick or any other streaming device., you can connect that to the HDMI in port of the soundbar and then connect the HDMI ARC of the soundbar to your TV's normal HDMI port. You will get either dolby/5/1 or atmos depending on whether your firestick is 4K or normal and on the content. If you connect the HDMI ARC port of the soundbar directly to your TV's normal HDMI (non-ARC), you will either get no sound/stereo 2.1 sound or very poor sound. I faced the same problem as you and the solution is as I have mentioned.

He meant that the source device should be Dolby Atmos enabled then only you'd be able to experience that Dolby Atmos effect thru the soundbar .

Dolby Atmos content. Dolby Atmos decoding capable soundbar/AV receiver. Dolby Atmos enabled tv (if you connect source to TV and send audio to soundbar/receiver). If not it will simply play Dolby Digital plus from prime/Netflix/hotstar. If you play Dolby Atmos from Harddisk then it will play Dolby tru HD not Atmos.
