I was just wondering if you ever got around to making that video about Day 1 from purchasing the radio to getting it up and running? I have a CDM 1250 also and I can’t find any good basic videos about programming. It’s for 2 m use. That would be super helpful!

It's the 1st radio that has the modified band edges (S-split is originally 450-512 [or 520]); 2nd radio (R-split) is 403-470 from the factory; no mod necessary.

Do you have the YT link on how to modify the band width of the radios?

Where did you get the Motorola cps at? I’ve been looking for that software but can’t find it.
@NullaNulla4 жыл бұрын
@James Lawrence austech.info and a few other places have it laying about if you search well enough. And the OLD DOS software was RSS, it's now Windows software which is CPS. Have you found what you're looking for yet at least?

Have same parts on my dmr repeater, but with the first pi hat shown... And same here, adjusting the pots is difficult, when you move them one side some handies do not work and viceversa

To keep radios on after power outrage need to bridge a couple of pins on the rear connector

Does this work to get a DMR to rebroadcast with MDC?

Try disabling all emphasis on channels config

Nicely done. Any chance of a listing of Pi parts used? I could easily source some Warris series mobiles (likely GM339 here but a chance of 338 or 328) and look at making something like this. I'm wondering how the old Radius GM300/M120 would go doing this, though finding narrowband in them was like pulling hens teeth since most stuff here back then was Tait or Philips FM900/PRM80.

How did you obtain a COR/COS voltage from the radio?

Use rear connector but first configure the pin with the computer, there is a part shown in the video

You’re better off getting a surecom sr328 repeater controller it would work a hell of a lot better and it would be less bulky along with being less expensive
@johnbesedic94324 жыл бұрын
That would be a great solution if it was an analog repeater that I was running, but this is a DMR repeater.
@414RadioTech4 жыл бұрын
@@johnbesedic9432 doesn’t matter it can still be done using moto trbo mobile radiosUsing the special interface cables they make specifically designed for the SR 328 repeater controller that I have
