Motorola Edge 30 Fusion Unboxing: Viva Magenta!

I almost purchased the blue version because some websites made this one look pink. Motorola overnighted my model and I'm glad I went with the red. In a world of boring slabs this definitely stands out with the slim build and leather feel. It's a bit overpriced considering the Chinese and Global Rom versions are less than $500 but some important features won't work on them if imported to the States. I'm excited to see what Motorola has in store for 2023.

I just watched this video on my Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. The phone is well designed. I could not believe my eyes when I unwrapped it. The Dolby audio is one of the best, not even any of the Samsung S22 line up can challenge it.

This device is so beautiful, design, the finish, the color options. This thing of opening the box gives a good feeling and what comes in the Motorola product package is not bland like Samsung's. Motorola even has the fragrant box treat.

Wish more companies would launch devices in eclectic colors. They all seem obsessed with subdued colors the last two years. Yeah many people use a case but if they want people to not feel like they have purchased the same phone twice, having a cool new color option helps.

This is available in India for about 500 USD, which is a bit more than what I planned to spend on a new phone come July 2023. It's younger brothers, the Edge 30 Plus, Edge 30 Pro and Edge 30 sell for between 300 and 425 USD here. I am totally confused now. Viva Magenta is tempting me a lot 😁

I agree. I believe they are slowly improving because their new ThinkPhone has a guaranteed 3 years of software updates with 4 years of security updates, and I hope they carry that over to their consumer-grade phones as well.

Not a fan of this colour so I didn't have any regrets when they announced this after I already purchased the Black variant. The phone does everything well. Loved the gorgeous curved display. Wished it was smaller at 6.1inch or so.
