At the moment, the Moto Edge 20 is on discount in Germany, having the same price as the G82. Edge 20 does not support Micro SD though. Hm...

I live in the UK too and have lots of questions about this phone. So, bare with me here. 1. Are you able to turn off beauty mode on selfie camera? 2. IS there a magic eraser under the Gallery app? (similar to Pixel) 3. Is there an equalizer under Dolby Atmos? 3. Is there EIS on the selfie camera? And does it record up to 1080p/60? 4. Is there a RAM boost feature similar to other Androids out there (Samsung)? 5. How fast is the WIFI and GPS? Does it detect a wifi network or mobile network speeds that quick? 6. Is there a smooth transition between different the main, ultrawide and the macro? 7. Have you tried third-party charging adaptors? 8. Does it support the Camera 2 API? Have you tried Gcam on it? 9. Can you edit lock screen shortcuts? 10. Is there scrolling screenshots feature? Sorry about my questions.

You can turn off beauty mode or set it to auto, whatever that means. Nope, just the blur tool. There's sound profiles but no proper EQ. Camera app says stabilisation only available with rear lenses. 1080p 30 FPS for front cam - mentioned in the vid. Yes but you can't customise the RAM amount. It's normal. There is no transition, it's just blur. Once you hit record you can't interchange between the lenses. I've tried Samsung's 25w charger, for some reason it feels slower but I didn't measure the timings. Yes - it's in the vid, supports up to 60 FPS which my Samsung doesn't even do. Haven't tried gcam. No I don't seem to be able to change the lockscreen shortcuts like on my Samsung. Scrolling screenshot is present.

Perfect review. It covered everything. I've got one coming tomorrow to replace a G5 5g plus that I was quite happy with til I had to have the screen replaced with an aftermarket part and now I've cracked the camera lens. Like I said this covered everything brilliantly and my only concern is about the screen brightness in sunlight. I was hoping the OLED screen would be better.

If the price is right (Amazon has great deals) I wouldn’t see why you shouldn’t go for the Edge 30, consider that the battery life may take a hit.

Great video mate. I would appreciate if you could tell me if the G82 has a fixed refresh rate at 120Hz or is it dynamic depending on the application we are on. Or is there an option to manually set it at a lower refresh rate, to stretch the battery life a bit more?

You can set it to auto, 60hz or 120hz. According to device info app the supported refresh rates are 60hz, 48hz, 90hz and 120hz. It is likely those refresh rate profile are being used when set to auto.

What other View Options are there on the Dual View Camera mode(OIS/EIS works in that mode? Don't think so) as Realme 8 Pro Split screen Front Small rectangle/circle but NO reverse between Front and Back or change while recording possible so in Moto G82 the same issue is there?🤔As in, whatever is chosen first in dual view, to change, you can't change during video, but have to stop and start recording again?! That was a very good detailed video. Great job mate. I might downgrade form a one plus 8t to this, my display started showing some colored lines and also personally missing the headphone jack and fm radio a lot. I know the performance will be a huge downgrade but what can i do :( Btw even the poco x4 pro has all the features + ir blaster. Bit confused myself

Thanks bro, for your day to day light weight usage I think the performance is a no brainier, it’s just something you’ll adapt to. But the Poco X4 Pro is compelling though 👀

Well. I am from india and in our country redmi note 11 pro 5g/ poco x4 pro 5g are quite bad in their price range because of the lack of optimization from the company. the poor optimization and the ui are causing those model's irl performance to be no where near their on-paper specs. btw if you want great camera in midrange the realme 9 pro plus is good option and this moto g82 (although its not yet launched in india) seems good overall package for bit cheaper
