My charging cables are sliding out easily and barely moving my phone will cause the cable to slide out. Glad I watched this video. I thought since it was a curved screen the repair would be insanely difficult. This seems manageable. I feel content in being able to attempt this. Thanks for making the video. Its direct and straight to the point.

My Pixel 3 XL suddenly stopped charging above 1%, despite showing a lightning bolt on the battery icon indicating that it was plugged in and charging. However, it eventually shut down completely. Now, when I connect the cable charger, it doesn't show the battery icon anymore, but I can hear a high pitched sound when I listen closely. I've already tried various methods, such as using the power and volume button, cleaning the charging port, trying different chargers and cables, and connecting it to my PC, but the phone still won't turn on. The only option I haven't tried yet is wireless charging. For the past eight months, I used to charge my phone using my Lenovo laptop's Type C charger (65 watts). Can you help me in solving this issue?

Most likely your battery is dead. if your cable and adaptor is fine, then most likely you can try with a new battery first.i don't think this is a software issue
