After following these steps the checking for updates page it just goes into a loop of "Check for Updates/Just a sec" any possible fix?

Since you have disabled google play service , that’s why it’s gonna remain at checking updates/ just a sec . Solution; the moment it goes into a loop of Just a sec , you gonna wait for seconds and then go back and re-enable google play service and other disabled apps Tips ; watch the video without skipping it , so that you understand the whole process.
