@@SethiSahib Hi, that is not a notification LED like you think. It is only lighting up when the phone is completely drained of battery and does not have enough power to display anything on the screen. Then when you plug your charger to charge, it will light up white to show its charging so you are aware its taking in charge but just does not have enough power to display it on the screen yet. Then when the battery has enough power to display on the screen that it is charging, the white led light will turn off.

I made a mistake while removing the back panel and did not heat up the camera portion enough causing the black adhesive strip to be ruined. I do plan on ordering a new back panel but it will take a while so can I use the old Back panel without black adhesive temporarily?

Yes you would just need to be careful water or debris dont go in the phone.

Hello I was wondering if you could help me out with something. On the back of this phone, I can hear a tiny popping sound. It's near the bottom, where the lower half of the battery would be. You could only hear it if you apply pressure on the back cover, but it's not that loud. What could be the cause of this clicking? A loose back panel? The battery? Can the graphite cover make that noise? Should I be concerned if the same click can also be heard when applying pressure from the other side (the screen)?

Hi, it's probably just the adhesive tape under the battery. Shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Hi, it depends on what you are comparing it to. I didn't use the device thoroughly to have much experience with the functionality of it, but it seemed like a decent built device to me.

Hi, those phones not too many people are interested in seeing, so its generally not cost efficient for me to purchase to do the videos. Also those phones are generally much more simple to take apart, and usually have little to no adhesive or glues holding the phone housing together. So the disassembly basically requires removal of some screws and not much more.

If I remember correctly for this phone, they are the same size for the covers (the black screws). But generally its best to keep them in order when you take them out since on some phones they differ in size.

Why there are 2 LEDs at the front ? One is the front flash light but what is the use of the other one ?

The other one flashes white when the phone is plugged into charge and the battery is completely drained and has no power to display anything on the screen, it will flash white to notify you it is being charged until the screen can turn on to display charging.

And i love the phones which have notification light ........ But why it has such limited use in this phone ? It only glows when the phone is switched off and we plug a charger and that also for 1-2 seconds ....... How can we enable it for all type of notifications coming in my phone ?

@@amansinghal349moto has ambient display/ moto display that shows notification or lights up , it was even before when stock android supported this feature . That extra light can't be used as notification light even on custom roms It's just there for charging indication.

That I would not know for sure, but if possible would require an expert in electrical engineering and soldering to be able to just install hardware like that and then someone with software engineering to program the firmware to work. Your better off getting a phone that has the functions you need comparer to going this route

@@lauranselhind no problem. Usually there are some solder points or unused parts of the motherboard but they are engineered and designed for specific leads and would not be plug n play.

Hi, its soldered to the small sub board, but they sell sub board replacements so you would just replace that sub board with the charger port on it. All batteries are advertised with both a typical and rated capacity. If you look bellow it, the typical capacity says 6000 mAh.

Yes you're correct. I realized it after the video when I used the phone a bit. Usually they have some sort of diffuser for the light or a more pronounced flash LED but this one is nice and tucked away.

Check and make sure your headphone jack is clear and nothing is stuck inside it, or you might need to replace the headphone jack. Also try restarting the phone and see if that helps.

Hello My Moto G40 fusion is water drop and No power on . So sir please advice me.

You would need to take it apart and disconnect the battery cable. Then dry out any water inside and use a tooth brush or small brush to brush off any corrosion on any connectors or parts. Then You can re assemble the phone and see if it works. If not, you might have defective parts like a bad screen, bad battery or bad motherboard. You would have to test each with a new replacement part to figure out which one is bad and replace it. If it's the motherboard, you would probably have to find another phone.

Try holding the volume down button and power button at the same time for 30 seconds and see if it reboots. If not, maybe its a bad battery.

You can search on ebay for motorola g40 fusion lcd and you will see some listing from $50 to $73. I think the price for the service center to replace it isn't too bad considering the labor and adhesive that would be needed to reseal the phone.

Also from conversion im doing your service center is charging around $100 and part cost is $50-$72 so not sure if you're willing to do the job yourself but if you don't know how, $100 isnt too much more than $70 to have someone else do it for you. Installing the adhesive after might be tricky if you have never done it, and also cost some money to buy.
