my moto z play has different colors and stuff but i drop it from a good height around 8 to 9 feet flat on the screen should I follow with this video to maybe fix it?

of course my son's Moto Z fell last night with the case on and a glass tempered screen protector and the touch screen doesn't work at all and there is black around the screen. Mine has the same screen protector and a different case and has fallen face first and is still fine. his screen protector is all cracked and it only fell less then two feet unto a bathroom floor.

Yashshree Vaidya. We ended up getting it fixed through insurance. Since Best Buy said they couldn't fix it they sent us a gift card for the full amount. We got it and they waived the sales tax since we paid the deductible

The video doesn't say anything about re applying the adhesive you had to cut through to remove the screen.

I was wondering the same thing. I just received a new screen from www.RepairPartsPlus.com with a tool set by don't recall seeing the tape.

It also doesn't say to test the LCD and digitizer before installing the new screen which should be first thing once the screen is removed...
