What is the meaning of the sounds heard at 1:33 and 1:47 after transmitting? I have two radios. One makes this sound and the other doesn't. It is very annoying. Please help if you can. Thank you.

I don't know the particular setting off the top of my head. If you have two radios where only one is affected, just compare codeplugs. Check your tone alert settings on the channel and on the general settings menus. Your dealer where you purchased from (and whoever programmed the radios) should also provide you support.

It’s either channel call receive which you’ll find on the digital contact area or your talking about the channel free indication tone , found in the alert tone section in the cps

How do you program this radio. When you buy it is program to default frequencies?

The radio comes from the factory with 1 default analog frequency and 1 default digital frequency, but you would not be licensed to use them. You would need a programming cable and MotoTRBO Customer Programming Software to program the radio and we also teach you how to do programming. Contact us for more details.

I just got one of these and the voice announcement does not work. It is turned on but does not work. How do I get it to work?

If it is a properly functioning and legitimate radio, it is probably a programming issue, you should approach the dealer who sold you the radio for support. If not, we can help.

Have you tried getting this radio out of band? any chance it'll go up to 486Mhz? Will only need it for receive only anyway.

I think the highest out of band freq was about 476MHz last time we tried it. However, the XPR3000 and XPR7000 Series cover the entire UHF band 403-512 MHz in normal operation. Please free to call with any questions, Ken (area code 706) 896-0000.
