I have now One and had G6 plus before. G6 plus was really good but i like Moto One more with stock android and future updates. And not so chunky like g6 plus. Like the design more on One.

You wont notice much of a differece in performance between the two, however in my experience the g6 feels more durable and i liked the camera on it a lot more... must of my friends like the looks of the moto one tho and often comment on it, so if you like it more for the size and form factor, you are not alone, and you will probably enjoy it. Also, dont fixate a lot on the soc being two years old, it's still a pretty decent processor for the average consumer. Also the battery usually last me a full day and until around 12:00 of the next day

The One has better android Support (it will get android 10) more compact, better batery life. G6 Plus has better display (slightly sharper when looking closer) better camera and slightly better chipset

Lacks a lot of gesture and motion support, like triple tap for screenshot, one-button nav, pickup/flip, etc. Basically making it a better comparison to non-Moto devices like the Nokia 6.1 Plus which has the same chipset and overall size. Hopefully they fix it with software updates.

Well,in the Indian market the specs on the Motorola One Power are quite different.Uses a Snapdragon 636,has a metal back,has 16+5mp camera rear & 12mp front camera & has a 5000mAh battery.

POCO F1 is a good option for low light camera problems as it competes against the Xiaomi MiA2, a camera good in low light. But the disadvantages is the build quality. It's polycarbonate, and it has screen bleeding issues so yeah. Honor Play is a phone dedicated to mobile gaming and has a capable camera but the problem is software updates and the locked bootloader (no custom ROMs). G6 Plus is a good alternative. It's stock android and has the neat Moto features with also a capable camera, except it uses a mid-range SoC and is horrible on software updates. Not sure about the A7 2018 though...

Yes there are two devices... Motorola One & Motorola One Power... Motorola One, with lower specifications, is available globally. While Motorola One Power, with higher specifications, is available only in India (220$ approx.)

Moto z2 force, there is no comparison, it just beats both of these phones on hardware (from the faster soc to the beautiful oled screen) I have actually owned both the g6+ and the z2 force and I LOVED the z2 while i had it.

I have had several Motorola phones, and each one had a problem with random heating. I never knew when it would turn into a hand-warmer, and then die before the day was over. My current iPhone SE can easily go 2 days if I need it to, and NEVER heats up. Still, I would like to go back to one of these Motos, but only if they have solved their heating problems.
