Just ordered this phone, but I’m a little bit disappointed because it does not have a SD slot wtf. This was going to be my first foldable phone. I was so excited about the last thing I would’ve ever thought that it would have SD card so I might just be returning it because of that.

@@ChrisSanchez-g8d I got mine 1 week ago and the batery life for some that don't use his phone all day is good, if you want something to use it all day, nop the batery of this phone isn't for that. Also something that help me a lot with the batery is that I use more the front screen more than I think

T-Mobile was selling this phone for $552 and offered me $500 in trade for my old phone. It only cost me $52 plus a $35 upgrade fee. Great phone for the price, I can do about 90% of the things on the outside screen so it saves battery life and it's so compact.

My fave is how the camera turns into a camcorder when you have the phone at a 90 degree angle. Even more impressive is how crisp that 3 inch screen is. Doin most tasks there takes some learning but once you get the hang of it, you'll end up opening your phone moreso as a reminder to yourself that you can do that 😂

I've had the RAZR 2024 for 5 days now, no issues at all and plenty of power for what I use it for. Just put the camera to test yesterday with nearly 100 pics taken as well as around one dozen videos. After looking at them on my computer I find them to be pretty nice, far better than last years base model for sure. I love the smooth flip, you're right, it's perfect. I think the base model is the killer flip phone of the year, it just doesn't have a single glaring fault that I could find. Nice first impression, look forward to a full review!

I'm planning on getting the razr 2024 and taking a break from iphone for a bit, but what's concerning me is I have been reading that good ole Google has made it so on theses flips now moto and Samsung that Google assistant is no longer working via voice to make calls etc when the phones are flipped closed!? Like saying hey google call so & so, The external screen will say now that you need to flip it open! Can you test this out & report back please? if you Google this recent known issue to there's plenty on reddit and Google forums about it and some say the fix was to uninstall the latest update to Google app, but now I've read with android 14 it that fix does not work! Moto is supposedly aware of the known issue and is waiting for Google to reply and fix it! I hate how Google always ruins important basic features with updates. EDIT:issue resolved for the most part you can use extend unlock settings to prevent phone from locking up to 4 hrs at a time in certain situations

I just ordered mine and I'm super excited. It's the most I've ever spent on a phone. I usually get them dirt cheap when they're 2-3 years old. For the first time ever I will actually have a phone during its release year.

I still think it's kinda crazy that the first Apple iPhone in 2007 had a 3.5 LCD screen with a resolution of 320×480 at 163 ppi. The outer screen on the razr is so much better. It's incredible what a difference 20 years makes. 😊

Got my hands on a 2024 and a 2023 3 days ago. Loving them so far. My first entry into foldables and I am impressed.My only grip is I cannot confidently flip open them with single hand so I am thinking answering calls one handedly is going to be a bit of a challenge. Did you find that too ?

Am looking for a new phone. I found your review very useful, you described the workings of the phone better. I wish the Razr had micro SD cards available to expand the memory. I would like that phone reviews would focus on the phone function. Answering features and customizations cross applications of apps while making a call to multi-task such as calling your doctor/nurse from the pharmacy and sending a pix /sku of a medicine to the Doc while making an appointment for your kid and setting that date automatically to your calendar/todo. iPhones are good at that.

Oh I see, you need a $50 a month plan...hm. So my plan is $18 after hidden taxes and fees. For just one line. I wonder what the math is on this...$50x12=$600+$200 = $800, I presume you get another $200 off a phone that next year. $18x12=$216, I got the Razr+ for $500 after trade in...wow that's basically the same price at $716 and then I'll trade in my Razr+ again next year maybe. Or the year after that more likely because this phone is pretty perfect. (I know I'm probably off on your monthly bill, but I wanted to play the numbers as ideally as possible. Technically my plan is supposed to be $15 a month Unlimited talk/text+5GB of data.)

I think this specific color and model of the Razr 2024 family is the first time a smart flip phone has felt like a "mainstream" phone. Other than buying like, the Razr 5G used, with no water proofing or wireless charging etc. -- this is it. Flip Phones have truly arrived at $700 with 4200mah battery. (the trade in of my Razr 2023+ let both 2024 models cost the same, so I have the Plus version, but still -- this is the phone I'd recommend to people from here on out.)

I have the 2024 Motorola razr same color that you're describing and showing here and I don't know what makes you think it's so easy to open up I can't just use my thumb and flip it open I have to use two hands My hinge is really snug which I'm considering a good thing

Getting mine next year...guys how about the Motorola WIfi Newspaper that doesn't need to be thrown away. Like a really flat battery . Or a few flat batteries hard to detect. Technically you would need just the first 4 pages? Everyday gets the new paper at like 4am. Electronically flip pages. Keep it charged initial setup through smartphone etc. what do you think? The technology is there...touch the photo on the newspaper to enlarge or play video etc. get creative...pay for the initial WiFi newspaper fees and subscription to your local newspaper of choice, depending who you subscribe to I guess. Houston Chronicle !!!

Hi...just got a 2024 razr for my wife...please please tell me how you got the mic for voice to text to appear...it has been missing and not even the tMobile reps at the store know how to fix it and blame a software update. I would be forever grateful to anyone that can help...ALL mic options have been on and permissions are on. The best I have is a tiny keyboard ICON on the bottom right corner that I have to toggle the input option to voice...that needs to be done every single time I text though...this is ridiculous. Thank you!!!

I have and I'm currently using the 2023 version of the razor(till I get the 2024 one) and I can confirm the 2023 phone, it does fly out of my hand every opportunity it can. I even have a case (a thin case because when I got the phone that was my only option) and a pop socket on it but that don't stop it's shenanigans 😅😅

The reality is your contract will be up within 2 years so it shouldn't matter as it will receive updates long after your contract ends...

Yes it does.. I had the 2023 version the screen went blank after so many folds and I only had it for a year smh other than that it a fun phone to have!! I still might pick up the 2024 version cause I don't wanna go back to a piece of slab lol
