THIS is the best video on how to install a light bar on the Bronco. Thank you.

Y’all are awesome, I watched about 6 different videos and you cover everything! Previous videos were a waste of my time.

Awesome guys, thank you for explaining the different ways you could hide the wires for the install!

Thank you!! Finally found out where to drill.

Very helpful, I'm putting these on the bumper instead.

Ah, yeah they make a kit for the bumper mount also, the wiring will be even easier! In fact, there’s an aux wire pre-run right next to the radiator fan by the shroud!

I wired my light bar and it worked for a little while to aux switch 1 but it stopped working any idea what it could be ? Please I’m stuck

You can ground to the chassis using bolts under the trim behind the sun visors! Just be sure to sand the paint to bare metal, add some dielectric grease and you're good to go!

@motoroso one question…… No problem with crushing the wires between the roof mount and the roof? It doesn’t look like there is that much room for the wire
@Motoroso Жыл бұрын
No, there's room for the wire.

Great video! What bumper are you running? (in the thumbnail)

Have you noticed any significant whistling with this setup at speeds greater than 50mph? Curious to know the noise difference between stock.
@Motoroso2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jake, no whistling thank goodness, that would be infuriating. There's a bit more wind rushing noise if you drive with the stereo off, but I never do, and I don't ever notice the sound of the bar.

Great install directions. @motoroso , what do you do if you have a backlit bar?

You’d need to run a third wire, I’d pass it through the firewall and find a line to tap into for the DRL’s.

Am I the only one concerned with the amount of amps running through that small gauge wire? Thoughts on that?
@Motoroso Жыл бұрын
TBH, we thought the exact same thing. It seems woefully inadequate. That said, car manufacturers are sooooo good at covering the butts, it's impossible to imagine they wouldn't have tested this extensively before coming to market.... so.... it must hold up. Additionally, we've run ours for long sessions and so far, no car fires :-)

@@Motoroso good to know, thank you for the reply.

There is no way a 16-18 gaige wire will hold up to 35-40amps. Good luck. Oh and those wires going thru that hole you drilled will short out over time due to movement

Please for the love of your vehicle, DO NOT run wiring through a hole like that. Drill a bigger hole and use a rubber grommet. This is a hack job that will result in a fault
