Looks like the rear wing failed on the blue car, just as they were entering the braking zone. Bad luck for both cars, though good to see the drivers are okay.

Ken is unbelievably lucky that he had that car on the side to redirect him cause if not that cars heading head on towards the wall and I can only imagine what an impact like that would be like in one of these cars

these F5000 cars at warwick farm in Liverpool NSW were the best,, chrome and beautifull paint jobs. Frank Matich won many races in a home made car. The clown in the blue car was way too fast going into a corner and locked up and lost it. If a car spun a bearing its not ready to race.

I believe that beautiful T332 tub is garbage now. My dad had a T330 & T332 in 1975 & 1976... yeah that is a write off imho
