I used to watch NASCAR when Kyle was racing. He does a great job on these interviews and he is good person. I had a nephew that was terminally ill with leukemia and loved NASCAR. His family sent several letters to drivers at the time to try to get them to meet him or get a response to help the boy's morale. Kyle Petty is the ONLY one that responded, with a card and hand written message. My nephew died his Senior year of high school. Thank You Kyle.

I can say for certain that when I parked my drag car, and built a Jr Dragster for my daughter, I had much more fun watching her than I ever had racing myself. I was pretty successful locally, but, my daughter had FANS! It was pretty funny watching the boys in her class literally cry when we rolled her car out of the trailer. They all knew that when that neon pink mini slingshot, with The Powerpuff Girls painted on the cowl and "Girl Power" on the sides showed up, they were gonna run 2nd TO A GIRL! The best part was that, I've been told, their moms all (secretly) LOVED seeing it happen!

This is like passing of the guard form me. Grew up watching the Petty's and the Earnhardt's. Deegan seems to have the same "it" factor. Danica Patrick, bless her heart. I see a lot of people saying she didn't want to win. That's BS, their isn't a single person who climbs behind the wheel of a legit race car that doesn't want to win. That's just stupid. Danica didn't have the right combination of attitude and tools to move her to that next level. You could always see how disappointed she was. She wanted it too bad maybe. Deegan on the other hand, was born with the tools and daddy Deegan helped whip up that attitude. I agree that it is harder to make someone aggressive then it is to have them dial it back. If she can find that right combination, she will be on Coffee with Kyle in no time.

I have becoming a fan of her a while back. I love her attitude, she is a TRUE race with so much love for driving race cars. She will succeed 100%. Some boys out there should look at her and take some advice... She has a awesome personality and will support her all the way! Boy or a girl, dont care. Its what they do with the car that matters.... keep pushing!! 🤙 CUP 2023! 😎😎

This convo was awesome to watch and really shows out of any other sport racing can close any generation gap there is between competitors. Hailie congratulations on the accomplishments you gathered already. And can't wait to see the many more that are gonna come your way.

for anyone watching this that doesn't follow 2 wheel stuff, like Kyle said Halie's dad Brian Deegan is considered one of the godfathers of freestyle he is an all time great right up their with Travis Pastrana. He also was a pretty good race before that he won a 125 supercross on an underfunded privateer team, it was a big upset their were probably 7 or 8 factory riders in the field & several other better funded private teams. It was the only supercross he won but it wasn't a fluke he had several other podium finishes, but because he wasn't clean cut & had tattoo's he never got a shot on a competitive team, & ultimately that frustrated him to the point that he transitioned to freestyle full time less than a year after his only win. I hope this Deegan family trivia was interesting for any of you who don't watch 2 wheel stuff. P.S. the video of his final lap of his win is worth the watch on KZbin, at the finish line he had a large lead & decided to celebrate he would ghost ride the bike off of the finish line jump. He pinned throttle & jumped off the back sending the bike flying through the air on it's own, which the factory teams & the AMA hated & they gave him a pretty substantial fine after the race lol!

I've always noticed how Kyle always tries to make sure his guests feel as comfortable as possible 🙆 and asks them questions that pretty much have to do with their racing and they know he has been there, and done that so he'll understand what they're talking about
