This guy is the best teacher I've ever seen. He knows his shit so well and he knows how to relay that information like a pro. If I was rich I would personally hire this guy to come over from the UK and teach me in the states

Took me awhile to get my head around this concept. So much to learn.

I love motorcycle racing because it's so similar to snowboarding, they very well complement each other. I've taught snowboarding for 13 years, many of which at advanced/technical level and I can easily draw parallels between the two.

This acutally works, tried it today and love the results, you can pick up/speed so much faster out of the turn, Thanks for the vid.

@rocketpunch12210 yes it does still apply in left handers you simply pull on the left bar but use your right hand to apply the throttle

Thanks for giving us good insights on riding...i mean it helps us to improve our riding skills a lot...

I'd say sometimes it's pull sometimes it's push. I like to twist the bars for redundancy. If something goes wrong and you are 100% dependent on one side you're done. If you 50/50 it, it's more stable.

that's because they do it with all the other principles as well, they already have the speed(inertia). If you push out in the corner the only thing that's gonna happen is the front tires are going to drop underneath you. I've never seen anyone counter-steer on the apex of corner. maybe after the apex but not at full lean.

It sounded like it makes sense as Andy is using a right hand turn as an example, but if you think about it the "pick up" technique will not on left turns.

@chinmay789 your picking up on the lean man its no that difficult of understanding, it is the comfortability in application that makes it difficult

I'm a new rider, was wondering what Andy man by "doing on the apecs" ?
@l.s.17093 жыл бұрын
Look up the definition of apex. He is trying to say that you need to wait until after the apex before using this "picking up" technique, because you'll run wide if you do or too early (at or before the apex).

Take it to the track sir master squid. Get lapped a few times by fat old guys on motards, learn all you can, and you'll drop the ego pretty quickly...or quit.
