A truly chaotic map that leaves your heart racing, adrenaline pumping, & wanting more! This game and Split/Second are the only games that have done anything like this and I wish we'd see more like it.

Playing this masterpiece right now. I played all the MS games back on ps3 and just recently got them on rpcs3. What a friggin treat man. They seriously need to remaster this series.

I LOVE ARCADE RACERS BRUH (i dislike games like Forza n Gran Turismo, anything super realistic I don't really like, too methodical and "slow" sometimes) can't get enough of em, absolutely LOVE split/second to death, and finding out MOTORSTORM APOCALYPSE was like it just MAN I'm playing this game ASAP

MotorStorm are one of the few series that managed to have both graphics and fun gameplay. The original MotorStorm looked amazing for a 2006 game, and Apocalypse pushed the PS3 to its limit with all the weather effects and environmental destruction. I can only dream that Sony ports these games to PC and/or PS5 one day.

GPU wise emulators don't utilise much GPU resources as for the CPU not to sure of. But generally the better the CPU the more performance you will get here is a small list of CPU rated by tiers for RPCS3. Edit, For some reason it's only monitoring one CPU core so that's why it's so low

Settings I have changed whats not on that list under CPU config enable spu loop detection, GPU config anistropic filter 16x, disable anti aliasing, output scalling FidelityFX super resolution. For Advanced config, sleep timer accuracy as host, driver wake up delay 20. Maybe try using task manager set rcps3 to high priority might help.

I’ve got pacific rift. And that hits 60 most of the time. Never drops below 58fps. I do have it at 720p though. Apocalypse, even with the frame rate unlocked. Doesn’t go above 35. I have an RTX 3050. I assume my pc isn’t powerful enough. But then surely if I can run pacific rift at 60?

@@richwatson1985 Making the resolution lower won't make much difference. As like I said it will just be a CPU bottleneck. Some maps will work better than others. I would suggest playing free play and lower the AI count on it.

Yes you can cap it in the custom game configuration screen through RPCS3. Or can disable the unlocked FPS through the manage patches tab.
