1:19 Got hold of the game few days early and there were like only 5 times posted for Sugar Rush still. Being the first to post a time with a shortcut made me feel special for a short time. Thought it was a bug they would fix but it stayed there as it seems ✌️

I think they patched in a reset box for that rift cut because I tried it in festival mode and it reset me

bro been playing for 15 years and didn't know basic mechanics 😭 But to answer, you tap the left stick down, then up quickly. You can do it on bikes and ATV. You can also duck double tapping down on the stick (for when you go under logs etc)

Dude, i have a question non related to this video. If, somehow, i try to play online on one of the modded servers, will i be able to unlock the lasts online trophys and vehicles such as the 50 friendly races online?

You should, other people have. They aren't modded servers though. Normal server with a different dns setup.

Some of your so called shortcuts are actually glitches and shouldn't be used, the one on Quiksands with the bike is not meant to be a shortcut, that us actually cutting the track, but, the biggest one that definitely is a glitch is any time your car has to reset to make it work is definitely a glitch, yeah, you know what I'm talking about, I've used the glitch myself, on The Rift where you go to the right of the bridge or bunny hop over that crack, your so far off the normal racing line that is resets you on the other side of the track coming back, that's not a short cut, that cuts off more than half the track, someone can finish 3 laps before you finish, that is a cheat my friend and should be taken off this video, since now that someone has reverse engineered the server so that you can play online now, when that glitch 1st started getting used, I remember was 11 months after release and I almost always finish within the 30 seconds of 1st place, and all of a sudden the race ended and I was either on the 1st lap or just starting my 2nd

@@stevesandfer9831 if you can read It literally says to not do the rift skip online. You can complain all you want, but I’m documenting all the shortcuts people do whether or not they’re cheap. Good luck doing quicksands at speed in a real race. If you can pull it off quickly enough you deserve it. Thats the entire way the community determines what cuts they allow. Risk and reward. Hollowed Earth hill cut is considered cheap because there’s little risk. Hollowed Earth volcanic’s version of the same skip is considered fair game because you have to clear the lava. Sugar Rush and Cascade are both heavy risk/reward. You fuck up either cut and you get reset in a bad spot. Quicksands if you hit the logs you’ve lost any advantage of taking it. You do not come up in here and chew me out for documenting details of game that nobody else has in the 14 years its been out based on the semantics of what counts as a legitimate shortcut.

@DuneWulff I'm not chewing you out, dude, I'm just saying that especially the one on the Rift is not a short cut, but a cheat, there is a difference, but, if you wanna everyone know about a glitch that not everyone knows, the original servers are back up and I heard they are making another MotorStorm, if it happens to be a live service game, they might bring back all the old tracks, then people will start using the CHEAT again, that's all I'm saying, the rest are pretty legit short cuts
