Correction : You were forced to spend time with it since near the end the AI Cheating/Rubberbanding/random invisible rocks in your way ruined the game on the last races turning the game into a tedious/frustrating hot mess. Devs really screwed the pooch. 👏

I love this game so much. I agree that it is indeed the best Motorstorm game. I actually found this game to be more difficult than the original Motorstorm mainly because of those time-based checkpoint events where you're required to beat a certain time in order to unlock new events for career mode. I'm quite terrible with games that have some sort of time limit because I tend to get in a hurry and it causes me to mess up lol. I also was stuck on this race where all your opponents are monster trucks and big rigs and the vehicle you're given is a dirt bike. I ended up watching a walkthrough video on KZbin because I just couldn't figure out the proper routes to take.

Holy crap I completely forgot about the Dirt Bike stage. That by far was the most frustrating level haha. I feel you on the checkpoint time limit stages. They are my least favorite and they leave little room for error and well I error a lot. Those stages made me not even want to finish MotorStorm Arctic edge.

People love or hate Apocalypse. I hated the cartoon story line but enjoyed the racing. I hated everything about Motorstorm RC. That version was down right awful.

@@EveryDayRetroGaming I never bothered with RC to be honest, with Apocalypse it just felt a little too cartoony. I loved the details in the destruction more in the first two and Pacific Rift had everything the first one had and more, it was like a perfect sequel. Too bad we have to wait for a brand new studio, if any, that will give it new life. I'm probably going to get a PS3 again soon to replay some of the older games I miss.

I want to say it's locked at 30 FPS. I don't remember it dipping much if any as well. Motorstorm 1 was pretty bad for FPS drops during big accidents.
