jayfromdetroit when discovery bought in whatever and however the rights to roadkill were changed along with it which removed it from Netflix. KZbin and mtod for old episodes. Pay for this season that is no longer free for its 8 week run of free. The ones on KZbin are also the ones available on mtod for free that dont go locked.

i pick my engines based on power, price and size, lets say i have a 1967fastback and i need an engine for it first i look at ford engines okay a 5.0 coyote but they cost 5k and make 400hp with e85 tune bolt on's and a turbo making 750rwhp but thats the about the max with stock internals and the over head cams make it larger so you have to remove the shock towers ok so how about chevy ls 5.3 for 1k make 300hp stock, with e85 tune bolt ons and a turbo can make 700-800hp max stock internals 5.3ls is cheaper, makes about the same power and is easier to install so way not put in a LS engine

I don't have a problem with roadkill garage being on motor trend on demand but roadkill shouldn't just be on it in my opinion. As roadkill started out on KZbin it should stay on it. But I'm not motor trend so what do I know. Especially with Freighburger himself stating roadkill will continue being on youtube

I think part of the problem is that they seem like just a couple of dudes putzing around on old cars in the same way that a lot of hobbyist channels do, however unlike those hobbyists (many of whom have a day job and one unpaid cameraman) Motor Trend is a large company with huge production costs and they were likely losing a lot of money producing videos in that style.

I really couldn't be bothered setting up a VPN for just 1 website. The show was available to everyone anywhere before and there is no reason it can't still be. They can still have the pay to get it early on MTOD, no reason to then not also upload a month or 2 later to youtube because by then people who are going to have paid for it will have. Just a basic tip for marketing, if you want your show to be seen by the largest possible audience, don't make that audience jump through hoops to see it simply because of where they live.

Free episodes on mtod are basically unwatchable with 3-4 commercials every 3-4 minutes, and you can't even mute the commercials properly. Each time a commercial comes on it unmutes and you have to hover and click twice to get it back on mute. I can't really afford internet much less subscription fees because I am on disability. Oh well no more motor trend. I might be able so suffer through Roadkill. If the commercials were just Friburger saying buy your stuff a Jeg's because they support us it would be ok, but its regular irritating tv type commercials.

I'm really torn because I absolutely love this show but it sucks what they have done and not because I'm cheap and don't want to pay. I'm seeing you tube Creator's making a TON of money and it seems very odd to me that motor trend would take their most popular series completely off KZbin and expect everybody to just swap over and start paying for the same content, I know they are doing it because they don't want to rely on another website to make their money. however, making money on said website while said website is a viable website in my opinion would be an excellent idea and if said website does go under then take it off said website and only allow it on demand. But loosing money because you want more control in my opinion is a terrible idea. And all this video seems to me is a commercial.

Well that's exactly what it is.... a commercial for their paid subscription. When they moved roadkill over they said plainly that they were losing money making the show. They also said that it was either there would be no roadkill at all, or what we have now. If you don't enjoy the product enough to pay for it then that's your problem, just feel good that you got to watch the episodes they did post on youtube for free.

Unconventional or inconvenient? Either way it’s been a long entertaining trip seeing them in the works. I’ve done my share of frankensteining and can tell anybody that it requires heart to accomplish even the simplest swaps. A blown big block into the back of an antique custom shorty ex-dump truck (?) with v-drive power delivery system is anything but a simple job. These boys have heart and that’s why we love watching them.

my brother put a cadillac engine in a ford truck a while back. The only ford cadillac in existence. He didn't have to go so far as chop up the body though. The hardest part was modifying the drive shaft
