Ok, now I have seen a bunch of the Fourwheel and offroad staff both past and present but there is one guy I haven't seen on any of these videos yet and that is Frieburger. If his back can stand it, I know I can't be the only one that would like to see him make a UA.

Great video and camera work as usual, UA is one of the best off road shows on youtube, the most important thing is they always say have fun and everybody does, and for Ry trapp0 they did a great lakes UA last year

I would have loved to see more love for the 2nd Gen Dodge that one of the readers had out there. That truck looked like it handled things very nicely.

That hill at 8:00 to 14:30 would be my idea of a perfect trail. Would love to find one near southeast Iowa. Sadly land is valuable, so you don’t get much land that isn’t farmland or a small patch of hunting ground.

AOAA is AWESOME...and it is MASSIVE , best place in the east to trail ride whether you're in a jeep a dirt bike side by side or a quad... nothing else compares!!
@AndrewAMartin6 жыл бұрын
Between AOAA, Rausch Creek, and Famous Reading Outdoors, there is a lot of ground to wheel up there in coal country. I wish there was something closer to home (near Harrisburg) for me, but it's awesome country...

AOAA is a great park. Glad you guys got to visit there, its an awesome place here in PA.
@bigrigotj6 жыл бұрын
Loved the video BUT you should have gone to Rausch Creek Off Road park as well. It is literally 30 minutes south of AOAA and is the BEST off road park on the east coast. But now I want to check out AAOA and put it to the test.
@trentmcgee67386 жыл бұрын
Ultimate Adventure has already been to Rausch Creek, and with one exception UA has never visited the same place twice. Rausch Creek is an awesome place, but AOAA could hold its own with any off road park in the country.
@RyTrapp06 жыл бұрын
They also typically pick lesser known areas to wheel too, they try to give ALL of the participants a new experience - which is actually a pretty crazy goal considering all of the experience from all over the country in any given UA group
@HavocAdventure6 жыл бұрын
I'd have to disagree with rausch creek even being on the list for the best on east coast. Bearwallow & Ivy WV, Wellsville Ohio, Harlan KY, Windrock TN all have way more to offer than rausch creek.
@jeper086 жыл бұрын
I’ve been hitting AOAA more than Rausch since they opened. It’s a nice change of scenery.

This is definitely one of my favorite UA's, nice to see some east coast love! Now, how about a Great Lakes specific UA next year? I don't believe you guys have done one of those

Come to Washington and do the old Naches wagon Trail. In that same area is Moon rocks and funny rocks. Kantor flats trail and 676 trail.If you guys make it back to Washington check those out.
@jeper086 жыл бұрын
Upper Anthracite trail is one of my favorites at AOAA. I was wondering if you would hit that with the full-size trucks in the group. AOAA has come a long way since they opened up.

Depends on the tire and terrain, but typically 6-10 PSI. That's SOP with beadlocks.

Not a very intelligent comment. The JL is all Jeep. Ladder frame, straight axles, low gears. Great transfer case still operated by a lever. Stronger axles than eary Jeeps. Pretty badass

After watching that Range Rover and Fred's Jeep with the 2.8 Cummins turbo diesel engines i realize that those may be great for highway cruising but they suck off road, plus they are expensive

@southronjr15706 жыл бұрын
Well then it sounds like ur an overlander, knowing how to run these kind of trails is a great help when u r overlanding and run into some bad stuff, all in all though, both types of wheeling beat a good day at the office hands down. Heck, wrenching on the side of a cliff in pouring rain beats a good day at the office.
@mrkmdz6 жыл бұрын
There's miles of easy trails at AOAA, lots of scenic views, and one of the most famous geological formations in the USA (the Whaleback). Overlanders can setup base camp at the adjacent Trailhead campground (currently primitive camping only), or nearby Mossy Point campground with optional electric hookups. Spend a few days running the trails then take the kids to Knoebels Amusement Resort just a few minutes away, or head to Valley Gun Club to work on your marksmanship.

The trail itself was already bad and gnarly but the tire make it worst, i mean falken do make a good rock tire but the mud tire is not that good
