I had a 3.5 ‘95 which I drive for 5 years and 100,000 miles trouble free. Gave it to my daughter when she turned 16 and she drove it for two more years. It was reliable, sporty and safe. No gripes from me. Was a great looking car for that era.

I've owned a 1997 Chrysler Concorde and I still currently own a 1996 Chrysler Concorde with the 3.3 V6. Over 200K miles and still a strong engine, although it is now having transmission issues, so It will most likely need to be rebuilt.

Had a 1994 grand voyager with the 3.3. Gave it to my sad 11 years ago with 245,000 miles and he still uses it. Never smoked/burned oil but I did have the transmission rebuilt 2 or 3 times. I was also very hard on that van using it for work. Great engine.

Part of me wants to see a modern Concorde that does something just as curved and futuristic and this felt in the 90s.

My Grandmother had a 96 Concorde LXi 3.5L. It was smooth, quiet, roomy, and moderately fast. A perfect Granny car. I even got to drive it a few times when I had my learners permit. She drove it for 10 years until the fuel rail cracked and it almost caught on fire! Then she "downgraded" to a mid size foreign car, which she still owns to this day.

I remember the blizzard of 93 that John mentioned. Got a day home from school. Lots of ice. Later my mom bought a used 98 LHS, and then I bought a used 2000 Concorde. Good handling cars

MotorWeek with John Davis, one of my favorite TV programs of all time. I own the 1996 Chrysler Concorde silver Pearl taupe undercoat paint that match the taupe leather interior and I love that car, kept it for 7 years before it got totaled. Good times. 🚗

I had a 95 Concorde with the 3.5. What a great car. Rode and handled so well. Tranny went bad at about 130,000 miles and I had to say goodbye. It was very good and reliable til then. Too bad Stellantis can't make a car as good as that anymore.

It's a shame that the transmission was so expensive to repair on the LH cars. Many went to the scrap yard just because of the price of a new transmission

These were reliable up to the first two years then reliability drastically dropped. It was the first car in consumer reports history that received a ". Better-than-average" in its first two years but by the time they received its third year of ownership surveys it immediately dropped to " poor" which is the lowest rating. If it didn't break it rested into nothing. It was actually a Renault design and platform ( Renault 25). Renault is the same French frog company that bought and and has completely fucked up Nissan Infiniti. The two places you never want the French anywhere near is 1. Your nose and 2. ANYTHING mechanical or electrical!

I drive a 2000 Camry with 454 thousand miles that I bought new October 99. Those have been trouble-free miles DTW so if you want to cope about your shity French car whatever makes you happy coping I suppose
