The Valkyrie is such an underrated bike. I've been all over the place with my 97 Valk Standard. It feels like a sport bike in the twisties despite it's weight and size. I love cruising down the highway at 80, drop a gear and it kicks you back and climbs all the way to 120 in no time. It's meant to run like a muscle car. Shifting at redline gives the most incredibly smooth shifting I've ever felt. My only complaint is the mpg isn't great, but I didn't buy it for fuel economy.

@lethargicstove2024 it's not horrible, but not great. I get about 26mpg, but I've heard that the Interstate models get around 35mpg. Go ahead, buy it. You won't regret it.

Hardly. It technically isn't a cruiser, it's a standard. And it's a flat 6. I lost count of how many Harleys I have flat out walked away from.

Just because it's a cruiser doesn't mean it's a Harley wannabe, and who cares it's better.
