Great video. Thanks for sharing. No one seems to know what these are... The engine and heads are actually forged from a special alloy unique to the STS-V. Each engine was built by a Master Mechanic at a special facility in Wixom, Michigan. I have heard that they were signed... On the open road, they scream!

Going from memory, '07+ the engine builder signed a plaque on it. 06's (like mine) do not. It was still hand assembled, just no bonus plaque.

@@special_cars_germany That is until they start aging and stuff starts breaking or you hit something and then it's parts un-obtanium with only 2,503 made. MRS shocks... Can't get them. Drivers side cam cover... Can't get them. Exhaust manifolds/catalytic converters either side... Can't get them. Heated steering wheel (first gen wheel)... Can't get them. Driveshaft... Can't get them. I was lucky to find my shaft at a GM parts recycler in Sacramento! But good luck now as that was 2 years ago. Now on to body parts. I speak first hand because mine just spent a combined 6 months between two visits, in the body shop trying to find parts) Front bumper cover... Can't get them (I, well the body shop, went through 16 of them, even involving GM to try and find the correct one in the SPO). The issue is the headlight washer mounts on the backside. None of those 16 matched my OEM setup, so after those 16, between Geico, GM and the body shop, GM said we've got none, the body shop refused to use a used part and Geico said we'll wave your deductible if you forego your headlight washers... So the headlight washer parts are sitting in a box up in the garage right now. Body rocker panels... Can't get them. Rear decklid spoiler... Can't get them. Rear bumper cover... Limited available. That's me here in the US. I can't imagine what you'll go through in Germany when this stuff starts popping up.

@@wydreyo Same, WTH... Why on God's green earth would I want a bench seat in this car. Some people. This car isn't an interstate couch with wheels. It's a performance sedan.
