@Chewygsxr5 жыл бұрын
Well I bought this right after seeing this episode. It has 63,000+ miles on it and I’m on my 4th set of tires, it’s so easy to wear out tires because your always taking on & off ramps on the limit not to mention a good Mountain road. You can get up to 260 hp with just Bolt on’s & a tune, I have many Mods and it’s a good looking car as well, I get compliments on a daily basis, there not a dime a dozen, so you don’t see them every time you turn your head around like you do with Honda Civics. It’s great on a long road trip and at 80 mph you’ll get 32 mpg 39 at 65. Best bang for your buck, Drive one I guarantee it’ll put a smile on your face.

My first car was a '79 Ford Fiesta. I regularly visited the local junk yards looking for parts for my '65 Mustang project. One time I came across a left-hand drive imported XR2 Fiesta. My dad and I removed every engine, interior, suspension and exterior part that we could and turned mine into a XR2 replica. That was a fun car for a 16 year old. Too bad someone t-boned my car not too far away from my neighborhood.😢

How easy is it to give a mild tune with no bolt ons (at least until I've saved up more money lol) Is there any other parts needed to tune for E30?
@trevorbarrett550711 ай бұрын
@@spamcan9208 Tuning the Fiesta is super easy. You would need a Cobb Accessport which runs about $500 new. It comes preloaded with tuning maps out of the box that will change the characteristics of the car tremendously. As for running E30, you would need a custom tune for that. Companies like Stratified or tune plus can help you get the results you're after, and those run between $150-$300 depending on your options selection. I too have a full bolt on E30 FiST, but looking back all you really need is an Accessport, upgraded intercooler and a rear motor mount upgrade. Everything else is for noise/prep for going big turbo.

WSKRBSCT Plus, there are a bunch of different factors - driver, surface, atmospheric conditions, etc. That said, it is possible that if going by speedometer, 60 mph in many cars isn't quite 60. By law in Europe, speedos are calibrated to read high. I imagine that is so you can't say you were doing 60 when they clock you at 70. Don't believe me? Drive around with your phone's GPS and see how it compares. More info, google it or peep this: www.caranddriver.com/features/speedometer-scandal

Motorweek said they used Regular gas. That right there would hurt the speed. The ST can handle regular gas, but it will lose power.

Why do people in the US complain about not having a two door option. We only have a two door option here in Australia and the point of this car is it's a use able every day car as well as a lil rocket. Two doors make it much less functional especially if you have a family, I'd much rather the 4 door but that's just me, either way I don't mind.

I LOVE the Fiesta. I haven't driven the ST yet but the amount of fun I've had in the base engine, 6 speed dual clutch auto makes me wary of test driving an ST, for I would probably buy it on the spot. However the biggest complaint I have is the interior. I'm 6'2" and when I adjust the seat for my size, my left elbow is well beyond the door's armrest and into the B-pillar. I think a 2 door would give my elbow a place to rest on long highway drives.
