I wish Ferrari would've never replaced it with that FF. The Scaglietti was a much more beautiful car. If they wanted to change anything, maybe they should have put the FF's engine in the Scaglietti. Just a thought.

I always liked the 612... The Ferrari FF actually replaced the 612 and the 599 replaced the 575 Maranello.

The heat (as was mentioned in the video) killed the performance. They didn't adjust the times for density altitude... they just called it as they saw it. I'm sure with better air, this is a mid-12-second car.

@aston1bartolotta If you can do the 1/4 mile in 4 seconds, I'll buy you another one. I wasn't talking about 0-60 in the mid-12s... i was talking about doing the 1/4 mile in the mid-12s (vs 13 seconds as shown in the video). Thank you for proving you have more money than sense. If I had a Ferrari 612 (and I'm not saying you don't have one), I certainly wouldn't waste my life arguing about it over the internet.

V12s aren't all about speed. They're much smoother and inherently balanced. They aren't very economical to produce or maintain, but those aren't the factors anybody is considering when purchasing a V12 Ferrari. Anybody who can afford one isn't going to be worrying about gas mileage.

@goldplatedcheese It was always just ugly as hell to me. I tried to like it but everytime I see it from the side, 3/4 or bak I throw up. And I didn't know that, I sure thought it was the other way around. See, u do learn something everyday. :)

for a v12 this is pretty small displacment, and ferrari cares more about revs and feel over torque

The 612 is just ugly!!! Glad they replaced it with the 599. But they brought out another ugly Ferrari and it's that damn FF. Ughhh!!!
