I have one with the 4.2 engine. Love this vehicle! Owned mine for 3 years now, got it at an insane low price, especially considering the beautiful condition. Reliable, smooth, comfy ride, especially with new Pirelli Scorpion tires I put on a couple of months ago. Now I want to add a 9-7x Aero, but the wife said no more cars!!

thank you sir for taking care of your saab 😊

although this was a re-bagged gym product, I love that Saab still put their touches into it by putting the ignition in the center🔑

@spoirier01 I agree, I own one also and I used to own a TrailBlazer and an Envoy before that. The 9-7X has much better handling and feels quicker too. It actually feels down right sporty at times.

I have a 2008 9-7x Aero.... That thing loves going to the gas station

Well when you have an 2008 suv that was originally developed in 2002 with a big 6.0 liter v8, it was no surprise really, you aren’t going to get toyota prius numbers 😂

As a owner of a i6 gmc envoy, that i love, i can tell you that the i6 is a great engine but yes it does feel like its gasping for air when you get above 60.

wish they would have Saab it out more, by giving a manual transmission

I like the suv, I just searched actual recorded gas mileage by the EPA, the 5.3l V8 actually gets an average of 26.8MPG highway because of the variable cylinder shut off. This was the actual recorded mileage, not those BS EPA estimates.
@JDMHaze2 жыл бұрын
that cylinder shutoff hurts reliability, its best to get it removed

I own a trailblazer ss that is RWD ls2 and my wife just got a saab 9-7x with a 5.3. The saab is smoother and handles better off road, however the trailblazer SS has been lowered and had the air ride removed for coil springs. The SS I got did not come with heated seats or steering wheel controls, the SAAB got both. They both have leather seats the ss is leather and suede with SS stitching.

I love how John will try to play up the best in almost every car...and i appreciate that. However, at that point in time, yeah, there were like 5 variants of that same old SUV and there was no getting around that fact.
@pinksnowbirdie29383 жыл бұрын
eh I think each variant have their perks and cons. there's things that make the Envoy nicer than the Trailblazer - though the Rainier probably didn't need to exist but Im sure it had its own quirks. though the 9-7x is my favorite on that platform, by far the best looking one.

I own one and love it. Drive one and compare it to a trailblazer. There's no comparison

I want to turbo a cheap 9-7x 5.3 they are selling cheap these days. What a sleeper, daily. I love the Aero but, the cheapest one of those I could find was 3x as much as the cheapest 5.3 and both had similar 12x,xxx miles on them.

Does anyone have experience with these on snow and/or ice? I had a TB w/ 4wd, and it was very competent on snow/ice. I'm contemplating getting a 97, but, I'm anxious the performance on snow/ice. Any input is appreciated

Are Trailblazer and Envoy parts compatible with the 9-7X?
@joshuatucker68968 жыл бұрын
bravofan4life17 Yes, minus a few interior bits and exterior details, they are the exact same truck.
