When you think of luxury vehicles, you probably think of something German flaunting a high 6-figure price tag. Well, think again! We recently had the chance to fly out to Palm Springs, California to see what Lincoln has been up to with their all new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. So, let’s take a first drive and see what this spruced up utility has to offer. #Lincoln #Nautilus #LincolnNautilius

After the Nautilus, what's next for Lincoln? Could the next-gen Navigator have the same cues as this new Nautilus which itself has used from the already-discontinued Continental sedan?

Most manufacturers use cast iron for their brake rotors, and Lincoln isn't going to be any exception. Take it to an independent mechanic and get a second opinion if you don't trust the dealer service center.

2 problems, having owned a Corsair I know the build quality isn’t there, and the 2L? Not even the 2.3? Let alone the 3.0? No.
@nickcrncich7255
@nickcrncich7255 11 ай бұрын
Steve, I still own my 2020 Corsair Reserve with the 2.3. Except for a RF door that (disappointingly) required adjustment (which I had done shortly after tsking delivery) the build quality, especially the interior, is very good for the $$. The car is solid, quick, and handles well not to mention totally reliable. I also like the fact that, unlike the Germans (4/80000KM), the powertrain warranty is 6!! years. I still very much enjoy driving it and intend to keep it for quite a while as gas powered vehicles are being phased out. BTW I suspect you would complin about Korean cars as well. Bought my wife and took delivery of a 2023 AWD Ioniq 5 Ultimate last April and it too has been more than satisfactory and totally reliable to date. Au revoir.

@@nickcrncich7255 well, coming from a 21 Corsair that was plagued with the 360 camera issue that they still hadn’t resolved (rear camera doesn’t work), the drivers seat that was loose in the track even after they “fixed it”, the rattle from the back that sounded like marbles in a tin can they couldn’t find and the radio that would squeak when driving I’d say, at least on my unit, the quality was no where to be found.

@@stevend3753 If that’s your experience wow! I can’t blame you for your opinion…..especially when it comes to rattles or squeaks which would drive me crazy! Coincidentally, I just left my car at the dealer this morning for the rear camera issue (mine is working fine but they want to replace it anyway). I’m here at home writing to you since they provided me with a 2023 Corsair loaner as they have done every time I’ve taken it in for normal service not to mention a nicely washed car when I pick it up. I have owned a Lexus 400 which also was a great (boring) car and can honestly say that my dealer, West Island Ford Lincoln in DDO Quebec, has matched if not surpassed the service I received from Lexus. Good luck.

@@tedschmitt178 You know not of what you speak sir. Do you own an electric car? Betcha you don’t! Well, as I wrote, I (wife) have one of each and can’t be happier with them both. Electric may (is) not be for everyone but here in Quebec where electricity is the least expensive in N.A. (not to mention the provincial subsidy of $7000.00 in addition to $5000.00 from the feds I received nor the 50% I received towards the cost of installing a level 2 charger in my condo garage!!) an electric car is desirable. Oh, did I mention that it’s cool/convenient “gassing up” the Ioniq 5 while I’m sleeping? BTW regular gas is going for almost $1.70 per litre right now. Gassing up my Corsair with premium costs almost $100 and I’ll get approx. 700 Km out of that compared to about $30.00 for the Ioniq 5 for approx. 1000 Km. Both cars are AWD.

A Chinese Built Lincoln. No Thank you. At $60k+, that's a scary proposition to me, and to the American consumer it's a slap in the face from Ford. Volvos are built in China now and their quality, reliability, and longevity is (now) abysmal. This Lincoln, with all it's Chinese firecracker box technology should be the final nail in Lincolns coffin. It's a sad day for the workers in America and Canada that once built great cars. I've owned at least 10 new Ford products for work and pleasure. I'm sure that's over now.

Too bad Lincoln’s build quality and reliability is abysmal. Have driven two brand new Aviators with zero miles on them at dealerships and they both had numerous issues (speaker dangling from the ceiling by wires, leather coming unraveled on drivers seat, window shrieking when lowered/raised, and button to move the 2nd row seat for 3rd row access installed the wrong way and inoperable. Pathetic quality control at Lincoln. No wonder Ford’s CEO had to make a public apology about the garbage quality of their vehicles 😂

Took delivery of a 24 Nautilus Black Label last week, the car had 56 miles on it at the time of signing. The interior build quality is a lot better than what you've described, everything feels solid, there are no rattles or squeaks and even if you really push hard on the armrests and interior elements, they don't squeak or move. But this could be because it is built at a different plant than the aviator.
