cant find rx100 mikuni carb anywhere in mikuni website too only closest available are vm24 main jet 210 slow jet 40 and vm26 main jet 190 and slow jet is 22.5 , which one you recomment fit to rx100 without any change in cylinder.

If it is stock(normal ports) cylinder of rx100, vm 22 would be enough.. with a 140 main and 17.5 or 22.5 pilot. ** I will say Go with the stock (vm20) carb with 140/160main.. or fit a stock rx135 carb. *190 main jet is too much over for a 100kit

As I'm not sure what kind of porting has been done on your bike.. you can get exact details of carb to be used from the place where you got it ported.. On a stock bike 135 carb works good with slower pilot jet, one one use.👍

Thanks! I tried installing the RX100's pull-type choke but it didn't fit on my G's Carb. Turns out that the G also came with a pull type choke, but only for a short time Right now I'm using the 135's cable choke, but I want that G's choke Pretty darn rare and hard to find.

Yeah. Pull type G choke is very rare thing.. .but there is no harm using the cable 135 one.. that functions well.and even handle mount make it handy

Problem Depends on , from where and why it is leaking.. leaking itself is a problem

Check your float height and correct it Check if float pin is stuck If it's stuck, clean with petrol and immerse in oil for 24 hours and then now see if it has the spring action. If it's still stuck, then change the pin Replace your float gasket too.

Yes we can, as we all know nothing is impossible . But don't do it , as handle bar choke system is pretty much prone to faults - stucking/ half choke riding. The best is the bottom ones ,thay we have in rx100carb. Keep it intact

Yes you can use.. but try getting original jets of the mikuni. . Remaining thing use from the repair kit. The jets in the Natco repair kit is not good

From my Rxg's carb there is an airsound exhaling or inhaling sound from the 2t inlet nozzle and it also makes variations in my AF and when i blocked it with putting a ball inside the tube then the bike is not getting it's slow speed. Manifold, resonator pipe or box ( power box) ,cracked air filter box , check all these for damage. Also Seal that 2t inlet properly .. ball doesn't work properly

Sir I am having fluttering issue on my Yamaha Rx 135 done all the things jets are clean carb clean exactly same 165 .17.5 petrol t changed air filter change but still fluttering is there my mechanic is not able to find the problem and also bike is one kick start but in 3rd or any gear when rev high it's starts to flutter at 60 and cdi is genuine along with the ignition coil .Top speed is 85 kmph max after that fluttering starts and refuses to go above 3 rd needle pin carb is been set by different mechanics to find if it's accurate but then also nothing happened. Spark plug is ngk the only thing old is coil plate .my brother has same bike goes 80 in 3rd 110 at 4th gear

Brother please make one video on how to get stock exhaust note from RX 100. How to inspect the core of the silencer? Also my rx100 when roughly ridden over bad roads, there is thud or instability felt from handlebar from front suspension....i have checked for any play in the cone set but there is no any...for your information my Rx 100 has been restored recently. (4 months back).

Hi vaibahav!!! Dfntly will try to make a video on that as well in coming time. Regarding your Rx, check few more things with diffrent angle - 👉check the wheel bearings 👉Handle T for mis-alignment /or bend in centre shaft. 👉Con-set pitting ** Also the rear swingarm bush( even though the problem is felt on front ,sometimes it is generated at rear.)

@@MotoTravelRide Many parts were replaced during the restoration process like bearings, cylinder kit, oil seals, tyres, cone sets, swingarm bushes, front suspension rods, rear shock absorbers, T handle seems to be alright since bike remains stable when hands are off the handle on smooth road. There is no play in the wheel bearings as well since they are new. Can this be related to front suspension springs? Or something from front suspension from inside that feels like banging there? Something loose?

@@MotoTravelRide shock absorber rebound is kind of okay not very eager to raise upwards or very agile and free like my other new bikes. I even tried lift front portion of the bike with handlebar and bang on the road while bike is stationary and on its tyres...but same situation cannot be replicated like this. This problem is taking away surefootedness of my bike on bad roads with some speeds. Your advice please. And approach to resolve the issue.

@@vaibhavpatil86 There's something erratic and a bad sign that either something is loose/ ill fitted which sometimes get back in right place and sometimes in wrong. If I would have been in your place, would have gone for a complete diagnosis of the inner components inside.Espcly those 3 mentioned in earlier comment.. + making sure that the mechanic is a shockabsorber expert.

Very detailed and informative video, very clearly you tell the differences between the two carburettors but you forget to tell the difference between top of carb where throttle cable attach, the rx100's is threaded one and rx135's is non threaded.
