I have an 2008 Rancher and it's been perfect. I like how the new ones have power steering and can be Auto or ESP. I also think that for most people the 420 is a decent power plant, for work and basic trail riding. It'd be nice to see this exact package with a 600 engine... I know the auto would be nice for some people that don't want to mess with shifting too...

Honda rancher is really good and damn so reliable, I still use my '98 honda 300 on the ranch and that engine always starts and goes whenever I want to go.

Have a 2008 ES 2x4. Great reliable ATV probably the strongest one I’ve ever had. I’m a deer hunter and hauled well over 230 pound deer out of the woods like nothing, I love it. Yeah I know it’s a 2 wheel drive but over the years I discovered for the most part if u get a four wheeler stuck u can really just get off and manhandle the thing. The rancher is a very light so it’s really that much of a challenge to handle. Strongly recommended.

I have a 1987 Foreman 350. Basically all I have done is change the oil. It still runs like a champ. It is a bit of a rough ride when compared to the new ones though. Solid front and rear axles will do that.

Manual shift is the way to go. I like being able to control the shifting myself. But it is personal preference. Rancher is a great machine!

@mjcorp7652 Did you look at the Yamaha's and compare? I uv Honda's but the Grizzly seems to be more off road capable. Height, power, etc but I like the ergonomics of the Honda..

ive got an 07 recon about to get a rancher, the reverse is no problem shifting to me but thats just me, these are sweet

Ofcourse! I'm sure a rear seat attachment exists for this atv, however. When riding with 2 people, some states only allow 2 people on a quad manufactured for 2 people. In other words if it didnt come from the factory with a second seat, 2 people cant ride it legally.

They dont cost the same. A Nissan Versa starts at $12,000, the Honda shown in this video cost around $6,500...at least thats what I paid for mine new. A Nissan Versa is a shitty car anyways, so why would you even bother to compare a junk car to a Honda ATV?
