Wow! Really fascinating what you and your friend did! Lovely bit of welding too! I wouldn't have the balls to start chopping an exhaust but well done for doing it. Love the new sound. Not a bark, but a lovely rumble and growl... Thanks for taking the time to make that! Tally Bally Ho!

Captain Rambunctious Thanks Cap! The man knows how to tig like nobody's business... Well, I knew I was going to pitch it if I didn't change it, so no loss there, even re-assembled without the baffles it was still pretty quiet. The new can has a really good sound without being crazy and obnoxious, well, all but the farting it does when I'm engine braking down a mountain :-) Tally Bally Ho, mate!

Hello. So I don't know if you still have this bike or not but from what i herd the reason you need the NC700S is that it's shorter then the NC700X. So you might want to looking into getting the NC700X version as to my understanding they both will fit to the frame just that the NC700X is to long but something that might work to your advantage. Hope this helps.

I wonder why a centerstand and shaft drive and shield might not be each or all of them offered by Honda out the box but maybe they gotta put the zotic in exotic I really like this model, the looks and engine that's a sweetmachine Sounds perfect I was getting a little annoyed but it sounds so good you taught me something

These were great little bikes, Honda has stopped the whole CTX line which is a shame. The engine can still be found on the NC700 though which is still pretty popular for a commuter/mild ADV bike.

I haven't seen one in any of the dealers I've looked at, the closest I have found was Harley Heaven in the city had a white NC700 a few months back, I'm in the inner Northern burbs, maybe just the wrong place at the wrong time who knows. I'm currently on a little Vstar after many many years away from bikes and like the look of the CTX as a solid commuter and economical light duty touring machine. Ray

There are no after market cans for this bike so custom was the only way. A decent fabricator can make a decent set of pipes for slightly more than factory popped mass production units.

1down4up It was the Hero 4 I was using, not sure why it does that, my 3+ Black doesn't. I borrowed this camera just for this trip to cover another angle. Not sure the Hero 4 was ready for the market. Also, I made allot of tight edits and scrubs to shorten the video, so most of the quiet space between words was minimized during the walk around.
