The X2 and X3 shot 5.7k, which when reframed as a rectangle gave a 1080p resolution shot. When now filming in 8k, do you know what this reframes to?

You know..when it comes to using the QUICK option in rhr apo software, i never used it becsuse it didnt allow me to add telementry data after editijg my footage using that method. That wohld make my workflow so much faster if i could edit my footage via app using the QUICK mode and still add telementry data to that edited footage

Sadly you can't use the stabilization without horizon lock. Especially for motorcycle shoots it would be nice to have a moving horizon and stabilization...

TINY little 1/2 inch sensors that each cover a hemisphere.. whereas the Ace Pro has a 30% bigger sensor to cover 1/10th of the viewing range

It would be interesting to hear how the X4 built in mic picks up the engine noise and how it handles wind... I still use a hero 7 black with a wind slayer and sound is great (without having to resort to an external recorder). Maybe adding foam to the X4 mic would make sense or maybe it is not even needed. Either way would love to know before making a purchasing decision.

The wind muffs for the X3 and X4’s are available and do help. It depends on the angle of the camera, but you can pick up some damn impressive pipe audio if done right

Love using the 360 for motovlog am using dji mic 2 for audio Bluetooth its ok I have to use a volume control in between the transmitter and lav mic in helmet cause you can't use the dB gain level in the insta while in Bluetooth if you know anything different let me know

Would it have a wide enough fov to see the handlebars/dash when video is facing forward and enough to see me riding when video is looking towards me, without having too much fish eye effect? I bought an X4 for motorcycle riding. One of the batteries swelled up. If you stop riding and take a break for 5 minutes it WILL overheat and shut off. I didnt buy this camera to record at 5.7k. No where on the website before purchasing the camera doers it say Record in stunning 8k but if you do it inn the sun or standing still it WILL overheat and shut off and you will lose footage... I have tested the DJI Mic 2 with the X4 via Bluetooth, and it’s impossible; it doesn’t work. Also, I think even using the receiver with the X4, transmitting via Bluetooth won’t work well for motovlogging. So... what’s the point? You have to use just the transmitter in your helmet alone without connecting it to the X4. I don’t understand it
