I feel like i am on the starting grid while listening Simon's say. Such a detail and insider tips. Especially the last 3mins. Such animated and lively. It make me understand racing better as a motogp fans.

So many riding videos and experienced instructors, and yet this is the only one I've found to go into this much detail on the start process. Can't thank you enough.

Simon, I feast on these types of videos as often as possible. Your channel, MOTOVUDU, is the best of lot. Really hope to take track riding instruction from you at some point in the future. Thanks for another great upload.

As someone who watches all your videos this one is up there with some top performance and more importantly, safety tips. I have been hit on the start line and got away with it 👍 the points about clutch control and to make sure you have line of site are great. Keep em coming Simon.

Gold, hand down. Massive thank you to Simon for sharing this knowledge. I find that racers don’t do this enough for us mere mortals who want to go faster and improve on track days.

Did I understand correctly that on the race start, the clutch is essentially slipping until first gear runs out?

Hm, won't your clutch overheat and burn ? I fear a couple of these starts and the clutch wont grip anymore.

yes race starts wear the clutch plates prematurely, but if you race you don't have much choice

You can't ear your engine! So real that only who tried that knows! Specially if you drive the only 250 2t bike between 600-750-900-1000 4t!!! That was Rijeka 2007...
