This process is being used for a long time in ships to reduce carbon emission. The process reduces smoke for sure. But whether it increases the mileage and smoothness is a debatable question. We can also reduce the carbon emission by adding catalysts in car silencer.

Hi motowagon I had done decarbonizing service early on Jan 15th for my Maruti Brezza in Pollachi from GreenEngineSolutions. Vehicle ran around 64500kms. I have noticed difference in engine noise sound become low and performance good. mileage increased 2Kms. Vehicle got smoother than before.. thanks for the wonderful content MotoWagon. Thankyou Motowagon for this informative video on engine decarbonisation. Just my thoughts, after doing this decarbonisation service and when engine oil temperature is within normal operating range, drive @ 3000 rpm (preferably in highway) with highest gear possible to generate higher exhaust mass flow ! (Helps to carry away the soot deposits from DPF/GPF (applicable for direct injection engines with exhaust particle filter). In addition, engine flush using special additives (after draining out old oil and before adding new oil)every 50-60k Kilometers can enhance the smooth engine performance.

Hi, i have done this Decarbonisation process for my vehicle before 1 year. My car is Swift Vdi model, before this decarbonisation my car was lagging in its performance & mileage. After this treatment, i have got a good pickup & my mileage was increased to 2 kms. We have decarbonised many of our vehicles from Swift, Altis, Fortuner , to lorry, camper gold of which most of our cars have run more than 4 lakh kilometers. On result of decarbonizing the vehicle's pick up and mileage had increased, driving has become smooth and comfortable.

Recently in shell bunk they did an engine flush by pouring mineral oil and added the regular synthetic oil and they said it will remove the carbon sediments. How this is different from that process? Is it ok to do this oil flush out with mineral oil for the diesel cars? Pls advice

Modern cars do these decarbonising by itself. When you drive your car at highway speeds, the fuel burning will remove the carbon build up. See the video from Scotty Kilmer. It's not entirely necessary to do the carbon cleaning. Only 0.1 percent of the cars might need it. And you need to clean it only after checking it through a borescope by removing the fuel injector. You don't need a periodic carbon cleaning. But it's good to learn these processes.

Asir bro, You know one guy start this business in our Nager coil in year around 2002 I was work in that shop. Finally he closed that shop because no business. He also brought that carbon clean machine from USA. I remember that time cost for cars Rs.1500. That sad story comes in my mind when I watch this video 😢. They have given the hydrogen tube directly to the intake after the air filter and there is some gap between them so it will suck some air from the environment but without filtering so the dust from the air has a chance of damaging your engine..

There is also another way of using fuel additives like liquimolly and IOCL additives that does same work. Can you also put a podcast on that?

That was exactly my point too, a single can of liquimolly or lucas sprayed into the air intake will clean the heads. Another cleaner for throttle body will do the job. However, general folks are unaware of they are scared to work on their vehicles. Also adding additives during every oil change and added to the fuel will keep the engine cleaner.

I'm one of the happy customer. I did twice for my SWIFT VDI (70k kms), there was no damage or issue, i can feel, smoothness, performance and mileage post decarbonization. Before doing the service, i saw many videos, where it is mandate in foreign countries. Nothing is harm, good door step service. All the best guys.

Last time (but for the first time) i used oil flush before oil change ( i used liquimoly), and the difference is noticeable. Also use a good quality fuel additive for sludge cleaning in the fuel lines, pumps and injectors, these detergents can also clean carbon deposits inside the combustion chamber. Also then and there remove the MAP/IAT/MAF sensor, clean it with the suitable cleaners. Remove the EGR valve and clean it physically. This makes your vehicle run like new. But i dont know about this Hydrogen process.

Brother Hydrogen is highly explosive when it reaches certain PPM, Those who work in Offshore knows this gas due to its explosive properties. Usually we don't allow any hot work jobs in the presence of H2. If you mentioned the PPM of hydrogen you are handling we get to know the impact on the piston. I am 100% sure it will damage your cylinder wall and other components.

Although I accept this guy speaks with senses😂, I would not do it for my own car. This is just because none of our cars needed this process to be done. We have had cars since I was born and what my dad does is what I am doing to my own cars. Service regularly, make sure the service is done in reality and not just on papers! Change pannamaye pannitennu solranga sila per. Fill petrol in certain stations only, ride gently. I do not mean you should only be doing sedate driving. Make sure you are driving the vehicle the way it should be. Switch gears accordingly. Stay in close connection with your car❤ you are good to go! This definitely is unnecessary for a new car. If your car is pre-owned and you do not know about it or the person who drove it before you, then go for it 😊

Bro MG, the ventilation for air intake is needed using fan or blower, idling in higher rpm like this will overheat the engine and causes other problems..pls note viewers, even idling for more than 15 mins is not good for the engine..and what about the pcv valve system and catalytic system and all the sensors, will it damage it..need clarification?

Let me explain...hydrogen is sent into the combustion chamber in a controlled manner, and this gives out water as the result of the hydrogen combustion. (2H2 + O2 → 2H2O). The water that comes out as a result of the combustion (when the engine runs) helps in washing away the carbon deposits within the engine. Hope this helps :) P.S. If this process is done improperly i.e., if the amount of hydrogen is more than what the engine can handle, this combustion can actually damage the engine since hydrogen is highly combustible.

I agree that hho can clean piston head, valves etc. But how will it clean the tar like carbon deposits in the intake manifold, egr lines etc? I have used hho generator in my vehicle for more than 1 lac kms. It definitely improved performance. Fuel economy is better. No harm to engine. But oil mist from pcv valve+soot from egr will definitely cause tar like deposit inbintake manifold which in the long run will reduce air flow. Ultimately we have to remove egr and intake manifold and clean it manually. My suggestion would be fix an oil catch so we can reduce the oil mist from blow by gases from coating the intake manifold with oil so soot from egr won't stick to it.

@@srsaranyan2586 water is h2o. Electrolysis splits it to 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen. Hho generator is something that successfuly does this. It's a hassle for regular people. It improves performance, reduces pollution, fuel economy increases if driven sedately. But I always enjoy the torque. Less gear shift. Usually ford 1.5 diesels will emit a cloud of smoke if floored hard. But with this smoke is very less.

Bro H2 gas is highly explosive gas If accidentally we mix fuel(H2) rich mixture in side our engine there is a possibility of explosion. I have following queries 1. What is the purity of H2 used in this process 2. How they know that H2 rich mixture not present inside combustion chamber ( is there any safety measures ?) 3.
