Ambassador was always a dream in those days. First Ambassador experience is with my friend's car during my school days which was fully modified and painted in flashy dark green, entering it was a daily dream when he used to drop me in the evenings when he was picked up by his driver , the pleasant fragrance is still in my mind, nostalgic... I drove this car without anyone's instruction because since I was a child I watched the drivers driving the ambassador car in many ways and I drove it myself. If I go in the ambassador car, my seat is near the driver's seat and not anywhere else because of the love for that car.

Vast series of 3 Alphabetic Registration plates only can be seen in this car a few in my memory like MDA,MDK,MDE,MDB,MSS, MSM,KLU,KRK,KRU,TNU,TNR, TNK,TNT,TNR etc only can be seen in Ambassador and Enfields...as seeing Willy's jeeps and other vintage vehicles became extinct on Indian Roads nowadays.. Majority Movies in 60's to 90's had a car chase done by Ambassadors.. Ulaganayagan Kamal and Kovai Sarala's Brakeless Car ride,Still evergreen in many 80,'s kids minds

First of all, Thank you Asir & MotoWagon for doing this video. It was looong expected :) As you mentioned Ambassador was the very first car I travelled in my life and it also was the car I learnt driving in. I learnt in a Mark 4 and the feel of driving cannot be experienced in any modern cars. I still have my Mark 4 waiting for an overhaul and restoration... Truly The Legend & King of Indian Roads. Landmaster - Mark 1 - Mark 2 - Mark 3 - MARK - 4 - Nova - Classic - Grand - Avigo :)

Hi I started learning in an Ambassador. Tuurning is an art. I started riding the Ambassador in 1968. Travelled from Pattukottai to Bombay. It took 3 days. It's an experience.

We used to pour water in the radiator from a large vessel (thenee kudam) 😂.. those days vehicle was as equivalent to maintaining a steam engined vintage car. I remember there was Knob in dash board which had to pulled for few seconds before turning the key.. i don't remember the model variant.. we had the vehicle till 1987.
