got this lp on vinyl and it sounds amazing spinning up loud on a record player, plus I love motown's homage to the philly sound!

Dont worry, just re-live those great times in yr next party. Now that we are entering another half of a century, there should be something exciting round-the-bend. Seems that every 50 years, something exciting happens, which i might not be around to see it. But you will!!!! My best advice to you is, Relish those times and soak yourself in it, they only go around once!!!!!

The chorus is just TOO SOPHISTICATED for words!!! A great cut, whichever way you look at it. Jammin' horns, swirling strings, blaring bass, slick vibes section, and i could go and on and on. One of my faves, no doubt, in case anyone was doubting!!!!!

Never knew that disco could be this artsy! ))

It's because of that classic Motown production!

@@arushilovesmusic The media makes it seem like only classic rock is worth listening to, but that's only a small bubble in the ocean. Disco musicians should never be underestimated.

Big Dawg: thanks a million, for uploading this great LP. This has got to be one of the best orch. around. Along the lines of the Salsoul, MFSB, John Davis, Warren Schatz, etc etc. You did a great job putting the entire album. Your eardrums are superbly on point, Big Dawg!!!!

I appreciate the kind words. Motown production will always been unmatched! I've been getting a lot of comments from this album and I hope I will get more. I thought Space Dance was really underrated, so I'm happy to see it getting more love.

Check out Germaine Jackson's "Lets be Young Tonite". Has the same vibe as this lp. Chorus, vibe riff, composition etc. etc.

Who were the musicians? Funk Brothers under a pseudonym?
@Spanishdog17 Жыл бұрын
Michael L. Smith was the mastermind behind this. You might recognize David T Walker, Jermaine Jackson, Sonny Burke, and Lee Ritenour.
